So… I wanted to do a video about my art style and how it’s evolved. If you’re not interested in art videos,如果你对艺术类视频不太感兴趣的话 come back next week! Now if you ‘re not familiar with my work,现在你可能对我的工作并不熟悉 I do paintings and things like that on Instagram. And then I also do a webcomic我也画网络漫画 that I publish on Tumblr Tapastic and Line Webtoon. So my style kinda seems all over the place. Actually I feel a bit insecure about my art style,其实我对自己的艺术风格有点捉摸不定 because it’s really really simple因为它真的真的特别简单 It looks something like this. And… I can’t imagine what people think when I tell them然后…… I’m a professional artist or我是专业的画家或者 I’m trying to be a professional artist我正在努力成为一个专业的画家 with drawings that look like this. But trust me, it wasn’t always like this. How I Found My Art Style我是如何找到自己的艺术风格的 The usual path for artists is they see something really cool成为画家的通常之路都是他们看见了一些非常酷的东西 and want to draw like that and this然后想去像那样画画 was the case for me throughout high school这就是我高中时候的情况 I liked all the typical boy stuff我喜欢所有典型的男子气概的东西 So I drew Dragon Ball Z Robots and characters所以我画了龙珠z 机器人之类的角色 and there wasn’t much else to it并没有多大意义 Just having fun and drawing what makes you happy只是玩一玩 画些东西娱乐自己 Now my goal at the time was to become a video game artist我当时的志向是成为一个电子游戏画师 so I was around 15当时我大概十五岁 and basically I spent my time juggling school work基本上我把时间花在混混学业 and also improving my art和提高绘画技术上 then I went to university后来我上了大学 since we didn’t have any illustration schools in Sydney由于悉尼没有培训学校 I studied a course called Digital Media我就学习了数字媒体这门课程 which was a generic degree that covered everything from web design to 3D animation. Now luckily for my final year major project幸运的是我的毕业任务 we were free to choose whatever we wanted to do. So I did a video game concept with a friend所以我和一个朋友做了一个概念电子游戏 and we created this entire world我们创造了这整个游戏世界 So it was amazingly fun and I couldn’t believe那特别有趣 而且我简直不敢相信 that what I was doing every single day was leading当时我每天干的事都是在引导我 me towards getting my degree but despite this the pressures获得学位证明 但是尽管这样 of the real world were creeping up on me现实生活中的压力也在悄悄降临在我的身上 and art became less about having fun艺术用来娱乐的目的就渐渐弱化了 more and more about who could create the most detailed更多地关于谁可以画出最细致的 the most realistic and the most professional looking art. Graduation came and thankfully I landed a job as a video game artist毕业后谢天谢地我找到了一份电子游戏画师的工作 But that competitive stress never went away. I would compare myself with other artists. I would be obsessed with improving my technical skills我会对提升自己的技巧着魔 for me art was just about who could draw the coolest thing对于我来说艺术就是谁能画出最酷的东西 I would be dismissive of other forms of art我会看不起其它形式的艺术 like modern art or minimal design比如说现代画或者微设计 because they were “easy”因为那些特别“简单” You know that feeling when you go to an art gallery你应该懂那种当你走进画廊 and you think: I could do that that’s easy! Well yeah, I was that guy嗯是的 我就是那种人 Art was about more realism,我认为艺术应该是更逼真 more detail, more impressive displays of skill更细致 展现更高超的绘画技巧 I compared myself with others in a never ending battle to be better.我把自己与其他人比较 为了变得更强而展开一场永无休止的战争 but there always was someone better但是人外有人 天外有天 and combined with the studio closing down再加上我当时的工作室倒闭了 I started to feel burnt out我开始觉得心力交瘁 and then I stopped drawing之后我就不再画画了 In the months after the studio closed I applied for jobs工作室倒闭后的几个月我应聘了几份工作 and I even got a job somewhere in Melbourne我甚至被一个在墨尔本某处的工作录用了 that I turned down. Because ultimately I felt lost. Eventually I went back to school.最后我回到了学校 I got a job. I travelled and I didn’t really draw much. And even though I wasn’t drawing, unknowingly I was growing. Do you remember this scene from Harold and Kumar? I don’t know what it was.我不知道这是什么 maybe it was because John Cho is my hero可能是因为John Cho是我的偶像 maybe it was because Maria is the second most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Or maybe it was because I was a shy Twenty-something year old asian guy也可能是因为那时我是个亚洲的二十来岁的毛头小子 that didn’t have a girlfriend. Anyway it inspired me to draw this image. It was a weird departure from anything I’d drawn before. No more superheroes. No more video game art. This was about people. So Maria what’s been going on?Maria Oh I actually had a very long week at work. How about you? Work was good. I caught up on some sleep工作挺好的 我补了补觉 Plus the guy who works next to me而且坐我旁边的那哥们 decided to bathe for a change. -Really? I posted it on my Tumblr and it went crazy. Now that’s not a lot but for a guy getting 5-10 likes,虽然并不是很多 但是对于一个平常只有五到十个赞的人来说 this was huge. See I would post these detailed drawings of robots or armoured dudes看我之前会发这些特别细致的机器人或者穿着铠甲的人物的画 that I thought was technically superior and just like amazing我觉得这些画技术出众而且简直棒呆了 but I would get zero likes. While this simple cute drawing had struck a chord这张简单可爱的画触动了我的心弦 and it was a turning point for me. So what are you up to tonight? Actually I’m just going to be sitting on my ass实际上我就打算瘫在家里 probably eat a whole pint of Haagen-Daz while I watch blind date.可能一边吃着一整品脱的哈根达斯一边看《非诚勿扰》 Well, that sounds…that sounds awful! Well listen. If you want some company maybe you can听着 如果你需要陪伴的话你可以 come over and sit on your ass at my place. It was the first time I realized that那是我第一次意识到 art is not always about the coolest looking thing or the most realistic. Art can be evaluated in a number of ways.艺术可以从很多方面去评估 sometimes the best art is “simple”有时候最棒的艺术就是“简单” sometimes it redefines a culture有时候它会重新定义一种文化 other times the best art is something that tells a story and moves people还有些时候最棒的艺术就是讲述了一个令人感动的故事 and ironically after years of considering myself an artist讽刺的是在多年自认为是个艺术家的我 this was the first time I was actually making art这才第一次真正的创造出了艺术 Nowadays I draw comics to amuse myself现在我会画一些漫画来娱乐自己 I paint moments in time that are important to me画一些人生中对我来说很重要的时刻 about the themes that are important to me.或者一些对我很重要的场景 daily life日常生活 love爱情 authenticity本真 awkwardness尴尬时刻 and seeing comments and likes is far more satisfying而且看评论和赞比 than drawing another robot character with big guns.画拿着大枪的机器人要满足多了 though that can be fun too虽然那也很好玩 And my advice for those trying to find their art style? Focus on fundamentals.关注根本 Live a full life. And any time you feel lost with your art,任何时候你对自己的艺术感到迷茫 Always come back to two questions:一定要回到两个问题: Who am I?我是谁? and who do I aspire to be? Or just watch Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. So I hope you like this video嘿朋友们! I know it got a little bit arty farty.我知道这个视频有些附庸风雅 but I just really want to make videos that I’m really passionate about但是我真的很想做一些关于我所热爱的视频 and hopefully you’ll enjoy it as well. Anyway if you enjoyed the video不管怎么说如果你喜欢这个视频 please leave a like below and comment就在下面点个赞或者留下你的评论吧 And if you’re new here as usual please subscribe. And I’ll see you guys in the next video. Hello my friends and welcometo another Tuesday of tutorial! I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today I will show you tree ways 圆的方法to draw a perfect circle. Actually, two of them are hacksbut they are very effective. And the third one it is 是真正有艺术技巧的a true artistic technique to draw 徒手画出一个圆a circle free hand. This is the first trick:If you want a small circle, 把中指放在笔尖那里place your middle finger by the lead, and then firmly on the paper. Then smoothly turn the paper around. It will be turning around your fingerwhich is the axis. And hold your hand and the pencil 手和笔尖very still. And we have a small circle. If you want a slighter bigger circle, use too fingers, like this. 很好!Good! For a still larger one, use tree fingers, 把小指放下[大笑]and place the pinky down [laughter]. 很好!Like so… Good! And for a bigger one, use this bone of the wrist. Put it down firmly, but not with a lot of pressure 否则就很难转动纸张了because otherwise it is hardto turn the paper. The whole hand and the wristare locked, not moving, And apply a constant pressurewith the pencil. Let´s do this again, butthis time using a fine marker. We place the hand very firmly, standing on the bone. And I begin moving the paperbefore putting the tip down, 这样画出来的圆线条平滑 没有任何瑕疵so that it smooth and I don´t geta mark. 好啦There you go! Let´s do another version of this, with two pencils. They can be of different sizes. We arrange the tips so they are level, 把一支固定在纸上place one firmly on the paper, 用另一支笔画and draw with the other one. This is very precise! Ok, these tricks can be very useful, 但是现在去看看真正的艺术画法吧but now let´s go to a real artistic technique. We hold the pencil more perpendicular to the paper than usual, 然后流畅地and smoothly 开始画圆start making circles. 整个胳膊跟着转动Move the whole arm fromthe shoulder. 很好!Good! And now if you want to, you can go over a single line, 用这种方法in this fashion. I rotate the paperto keep this position, because 这个方向 圆的另一边比较难画the other side of the circleis more complicated. This side is more natural; 如果你用左手 当然你得if you are left-handed, it would be 用与之相反的方向来画the opposite, of course. Very good! Let´s do one more. Hold the pencil perpendicularto the paper… 在不接触纸张的情况下and I usually make a coupleof circle movements without 我通常会先比划着画一下touching the paper. Then I start lightlyand at even pace. Remember, practically allthe movement will come from 你的肩膀来完成的 整个胳膊 还有肘部只动一点点your shoulder, and whole arm,and the elbow will move just a little bit. 我画了这么多线一定有一条是正确的[哈哈]I made so many lines thatone must be correct! [laughter]. So we go over it. Visualize the circle you wantto make, and go over it. 像这样Like so. You could leave it like thatdepending on what do you 或者你想让它成为的样子need it for, or how you want itto look… 或者你也可以擦掉它or you can clean it up. In this case erase all the linesthat shouldn´t be there 包括里面和外面多余的线both outside and inside the circle. 好了!All right! We have a circle! This of course requires some practice. One good exercise that you can do, 就是用一个实物 然后按照它的轨迹描绘一个圆is to trace a circle, using an object, 用一支彩笔 然后用你的铅笔重复地去描那个线with a marker, and then go over the line with your pencil. Over and over and over and over. I usually go over it without touching the paper, 在描了两三次的时候for two or three circles 一旦我感觉我对这个圆and once I feel I have the hang 有点感觉 我就会开始施加一点点压力of it more or less, then I start pressing lightly. Do this with circles of different sizes 你就会很擅长这件事了and you will become profession at it. If you enjoyed it pleas give it aLIKE! 把它分享给你的朋友们share it to your friends 订阅Fine Art-Tips和Patreonand subscribe to Fine Art-Tipsand to Patreon. You know where to follow me,the links are below. And I will see youon Tuesday!
Hello my friends and welcometo another Tuesday of tutorial. I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today, 今天我教大家一个非常流行的东西by popular demand, we are going 画一棵樱花树首先to paint a cherry tree. We begin by preparing our tones. 紫色With red, purples, orange and white. Then with the brush, lightly tap on a solid object 然后水彩就会散布在纸面上to splatter paint. First, 我建议你们先在废报纸或者其他不要的东西上先试试practice on newspaperor other surfaces that you can waste. Until you feel you gotthe hang of it and you 再到画纸上操作can control it. In this way create the shape of the foliage of the tree. Now I´m using a lighter tone to create a light and shadow effect. Don´t try to get a uniformsurface, as the flowers usually 因为花都是随机分布的happen in clusters. Now we use an even lighter pink. Good! 哈哈哈This is so fun! If you wish to keepyour piece of paper cleaner 那就像这样 用一张中间剪开的纸than what I am doingright now, you may use 盖在上面masks of different sizesand shapes like this one, 这样你就可以控制在哪喷墨了in this way, you willbe able to control where 我建议你不停的移动这张打孔纸the paint lands… But Irecommend that you continue 这样就不会to move the mask, 弄出不自然的形状so that you don´t get an unreal line 注意水彩没干的时候不要把打孔纸放上去and don´t place the mask on wet paint, wait for it to dry. I´m using watercolorbut you can employ this 到别的颜料上technique for differenttypes of paints. And make sure to protectyour working area 不要被不必要的墨迹污染了against unwanted splashes. The list of materials is inthe information below the video. And now, some lighter drops. 我很喜欢这样做出树的形状好!I love it how you can build the shape, in this way. Good! It is time to paintthe trunk. With brown of different tones,we can paint the lower part, 和下面的泥土as well as a base. 还有树枝And the branches. We do these, specially onthe blank spaces, where 以及没有花朵的地方画树枝there are no flowers. In this case we are doing the flowers 樱花of a cherry tree, 不过你可以用同样的方法but you may use the sametechnique for the leaves 画其他树的树叶of another tree. With a finer brushwe do the thin branches 我们再稍微着色很好!toward the ends. And givesome shading to the trunk. Good! 树干Now, so that thetrunk and the branches 树枝为了更自然些 我们再弄点儿浅色的墨滴look more natural, we do some light drops, on top of them. Like this, not too much. This makes it look more lively and real. Excellent! If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE, 欢迎分享这视频给你的朋友并订阅share it to your friendsand subscribe to Fine Art-Tips, 下周二再见:)and I will see you on Tuesday:) 字幕:SHIROSubtitled by Grethel Trejo
Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial! I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will paint a waterscape 一张水景水彩画in watercolor. We begin by marking a horizon line with pencil, using a square. 很好!Very good! I placed it on the upper third more or less. Now we get that upper part 等等wet. And we paint close to the horizon line 靠近地平线去画with yellow ocher. 就像这样Like so. Then above it, a reddish color and then a blue. It will be a darker blue on the upper part, and a lighter blue 是一种浅蓝色close to the red. While the paint and the paper are wet, I can make some clouds and the Sun by dabbing a tissue paper. 好的!All right! And while it is wet I can add more if I want to. And now, below the horizon line 我涂相似的颜色I apply similar colors 它将在水上反射出来that will be reflecting on the water. But this time on a dry paper 用刷子蘸少量水并用刷子压着纸面with little water on the brush and using the brush almost flat, 几乎平直平行地去刷画纸almost parallel to the surface. So that I can produce this effects of not getting the paint everywhere 除了留下些小黑点的影响but leaving blank, little spots. I want this of course, to give the illusion of light reflections on the water. Ok 好的!Ok, good! 我喜欢这个色调I like the tone. Now, I get the paper wet again 这次全部打湿all of it this time. And by the way, I can lightly scrub some of the edges 我会让下方的色块少些棱角of the paint if I need to smooth it out a little. Like here on the edges of my Sun which I clean up with a harder brush. I want more orangy yellow close to the horizon, both above 再画些橙黄色线条and below it. And I also soften the clouds a little and add some darkness 添些阴影on top of it. And far over there, on the horizon above the water, I draw a darker line 表示这是山脉……indicating some mountains… …… 好的!All right! 好!Good! And let´s also paint the reflection. Now in order to have all of this look like, it is at the distance 就画在画的角落吧……I feel we need a close-by-plane so we draw……just the corner…… 我用一种微褐色的深绿色颜料画of a hill, for which I´m using a dark green slightly brownish color. And growing from it, let´s paint some trees and plants. This also will be very dark! I may have to go over them again. 像这样……like so… Some grass from the ground 和更多伸向不同方向的树枝and more branches in different directions. Some here, even going down. I don´t want this trees to be totally dry, and therefore we paint some leaves. Some over here, and some to this other side. 好的!Good! 还有另一根树枝And another branch. And here to the right, let´s add some more branches. And lastly we can reinforce and add shading, to the once 之前画过的那种we have. Like this! Very good! Let´s add some birds to give it more life! 最后画龙点睛 搞定!Some final touches and it´s ready! If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE! share it 给你的朋友并订阅艺术技巧to your friends and subscribe to Fine Art-Tips. And I will see you on Tuesday

Each speck of sand that falls 从这只手中掉落的 from the grasp of this hand每一粒沙 is a carefully calculated movement.都是经过精心设计的 When Joe Mangrum isn’t creating pieces当乔·曼鲁姆不在 in galleries or in his studio,他的画廊或工作室创作时 he spends a lot of his time in Washington Square Park他会在纽约的华盛顿广场公园 in New York City. There, he competes with Mother Nature在那他克服不利的自然条件 and spends a painstaking six to eight hours on his knees,跪在地上勤勤恳恳地作画6-8小时 squeezing and letting go of just the right amount of sand挤出适当量的沙粒 at just the right speed以适宜的速度移动着手 to create vibrant pieces of art he calls sand paintings. Sand painting is exactly what it sounds like. It’s the art of pouring colored sand onto a surface就是将彩色沙粒撒在平面上 to create a design. Early versions of this can be traced to Native Americans早期沙画形式可以追溯到 in the Pueblo and Navajo tribes.普韦布洛和纳瓦霍部落的印第安人 Joe’s designs pull from different significant shapes乔的创作取材自全世界 and symbols from around the world. His work might remind people of something familiar:他的作品的元素会让人们感到熟悉: mandalas, which are spiritual or ritualistic比如曼荼罗 很多宗教都有这个几何图案 geometric patterns that are symbolic in many religions. But Joe’s work isn’t religious or ceremonial. Joe Mangrum: I don’t use the term mandala specifically,我并不会确切地说我画的是曼荼罗 because I feel it puts people in a more因为我觉得这样说会把人们带入 Eastern philosophy box. And I’m really incorporating但我希望的是吸纳 different cultures around the world. From Africa, there’s vévé in Africa,比如非洲伏都教的文化 and Celtic knots and Chinese knots,又比如凯尔特纹饰和中国结等等 and different inspirations as well as给我灵感的图案 science and nature and biology. Narrator: So, how exactly does this所以这种精心创作的 painstaking artwork come together? And why do it in a park? The most important factor for Joe in deciding乔能够能去华盛顿广场公园作画 if he’ll make the trek to Washington Square Park的最关键一点 isn’t the temperature,和温度无关 but the wind. Joe: If the wind gets up to 15 mph or so,如果风的时速达到了15英里 it’s dust. Narrator: When the wind isn’t ideal for creating his pieces,当风的条件不适合在外创作时 he’ll work in his studio. These are more intricate, precise, and permanent,工作室里的画更精细 能保存更久 so that people can enjoy them所以人们还是可以赏画 even if they’re not in the park. But if the wind conditions are good,但如果风的条件不错 Joe will carry about 25 pounds of colored sand乔就会带上25磅重的彩色沙粒 to the park to create his work. In a good week, he could use up to a quarter ton of sand. Joe: My hand technique is really just taking the sand,我手部的技巧就是抓住沙 gripping a handful, and letting it just flow抓一把 让沙粒 through this little part of my hand,从我握拳的缝隙中流下去 and I adjust my pinky so I just let it flow.流的过程我会调整我的小拇指 Narrator: That part seems pretty simple,这一部分听起来很简单 but mixing it with more specific and intricate detail work,但除此之外还要做更加细微的动作 like shading and smaller shapes,比如描影 绘制小图案 means Joe must have complete control of his hand muscles. Joe: I can do quick lines and stop it我只要通过用手挤压 just by squeezing my hand together,就可以快速地绘制和停顿 and then kind of redefine them还可以上上下下来回绘制 by going over, back and forth. Narrator: Knowing how much sand to release知道一次挤多少沙粒 and how quickly or slowly to do it知道以怎样的速度移动手 is crucial for Joe to execute his vision. And it’s a process that has taken这一切花费了 over 10 years of practice. Joe: So, if you get really close to the ground,如果你贴的离地面很近 you can make thin lines. And then you maybe widen the flow with your pinky,你也可以调整小拇指 让画线更粗 and you can go upward and it flows. So it’s essentially like a graffiti spray can,所以它基本上像一罐涂鸦喷雾 only it’s gravity fed. So the further you get back, the wider the spray. Narrator: So creating designs as intricate as these所以制作如此精美的沙画 should require hours of planning, right? Well, in reality, none of it is planned at all. All of the shapes and colors are chosen所有的形状和色彩 and created freehand in the park. Then, when he’s done,完成后 he’ll spend five to six more hours他会用上五六个小时甚至更多时间 talking to people who stop by to take a look. Joe: The favorite part about what I do在这过程中我最喜欢的地方 is really just engaging people.就是吸引人们 It’s just fun. It’s like you’re playing with the world around you. It’s really a way to bring smiles to people’s faces这的确能让人们脸上绽开笑颜 and have fun doing it,玩的开心 and still, you know, make a living. I was really good at that Operation game when I was a kid.
Hey, this is Robin and Artforkidshub.com. And I got my cool awesome kid with me. Chuckers! Chuckers! How is going on this? 挺好Good. Well what we gonna draw today? Ah, we gonna draw an awesome owl. Well it’s fall. Isn’t it? – 万圣节快到了吧-嗯– We get ready for Halloween.- Yeah. What are you gonna dress up as? 一个……满脸都是血的鬼– Yeah, a ghost with black come down on face. – 真的- 听起来好可怕– I’m serious.- That sounds scary. 你告诉观众,我真的有这套装扮哦– Tell them that I really do have that custom. 我知道 是你去年穿的那件外套吧– I know, it’s, it’s a weight coat you had it last year, uh? 不过可能不会吓到别人吧 毕竟……Em, they might not scared of it because they’re in… They’ve probably seen it before? We’ll have to show, we’ll have to show kids on YouTube, 给别的孩子看吧what your costume is going to be huh. 肯定很好玩That would be fun. Well we’re doing an owl, 一位朋友建议我们今天画猫头鹰one of our, one of our cool friends requested that we do an owl 既然快到万圣节了 画猫头鹰and we thought it would be a lot of fun for Halloween 应该挺好玩and for the fall. So you ready got your marker? Okay we’re gonna draw our owl we’re gonna have the paper like this. And, and we’re gonna start with drawing his feet. Usually we start with drawing heads huh. We’re gonna start this one by drawing his feet. WSo we’re gonna start with two “W”s. Wand they’re kind of funny shape “W”s. And we’re just drawing like that. WThere’s one and it’s kind of curved and then 另一个弯向另一边the other one’s gonna be curved the other way. You draw him low on the paper and kind of in the center 在顶部画两根短曲线and then draw a curved line on top, 底部也画两根短曲线and a curved line on bottom, 这样爪子就画成了 接下来then these are his talons and then we’re gonna draw 我们要画它站在树枝上的样子so like he’s hanging on to a branch ……画几条线穿过它的爪子in a tree we’re just gonna draw 就成了它抓着的树枝line that comes through it’s hanging on to. Very cool. Does that look like two talons, like two talons hanging on? 正抓着树枝?like two talons hanging on? Okay let’s try his body and this is gonna take up the whole paper, 所以从这里开始画so we’re gonna start up here 我们要画一个这样and we’re gonna draw a kind of round. It’s gonna be a curved line like that, 然后接着画下来and it comes down. We’re gonna come down to a point. Good. So come so continue down here, 因为这里用了重叠的画法and we’re using overlapping, so we got, 所以我们先画爪子we drew his feet first, 因为爪子离我们最近so they’re the thing that’s closest to us. Then we drew this the branch he’s hanging on to, 最后画它的身体and now we’re drawing the owl’s body, 因为身体离我们最远and that’s the furthest thing back from its behind, 我们在这边也画一条曲线so we’re gonna draw now a curved line on this side, 再接着往下画到一个交点and come down to a point. Good job Chuckers. Okay, do owls have horns? Uh, kind of. Yeah it looks like that they have horns but are they real horns? Er, what is it? They’re just their ears? 我觉得是它的羽毛 只是……I think it’s their feathers, they just make, 它的耳朵大概在这个位置Yeah it’s, their ears are probably in there somewhere 但是耳朵上的羽毛看起来像角but their feathers make them look like they have horns 所以 我们在这里画两根向下的曲线so we’re just gonna draw two curved lines that come down, 再画一条曲线把它们连起来and then a curved line that connects them. It’s kind of like a cattle. – 对,像猫耳朵- 因为猫的……– Yeah, it looks like cattle’s ears.- Cause their, cattle have… 这根线画偏了– Pointed ears?- Ah it came down there. Oh, that’s no, that’s fine, okay. Now we’re going to, we’re gonna draw a “V” 一个弯曲的V 这是它的眉毛a curved “V” and this is gonna be his eyebrows, 和它的喙and his beak. Can you do that? 往下弯 然后再回去– Em-huh.- And tricky down light up. Awesome! You did it! Okay, do owls have small eyes or big eyes? So we’re gonna draw big circles over here. One. Two. Hahaha, I like that. Good, that’s perfect okay. Now in the center we’re gonna draw two his pupils, 就是它的黑眼球and that’s the dark part of his eye. Draw them over here, too. That was kind of a funny-shaped, sure and I’m gonna fix that. Okay now we’re gonna draw a smaller circle in the top part, 画在右上角 这就是……top right part, kind of looks like he is, 光线进入它眼睛的位置he’s gonna be the light catcher. 然后我们把剩下的部分涂黑light catchers in his eyes and then we’re gonna color the rest in. Could you make your marker thick? I put, if I put it down on the side a little bit, 如果你用笔尖涂if you are up on the tip, 画出来的线条就很细it looks really thin. You put it down on the side, it’s a little thicker. Yeah, good. Yeah that’s a little easier to color them uh. – 还好吧- 嗯– Not that much.- Em-huh. You’re almost done?- Yeah. Uh, you can go then. Perfect, that looks awesome. Look at that. Yeah he looks so cool, looks at his eyes, 猫头鹰的大眼睛looks like big owl eyes okay. Now we’re gonna put some feathers up here. So we’re gonna do a zigzag line on his forehead. Good job! And we’re gonna do some more, 画一条曲线curved lines right here, 眼睛看起来就更大了eyes look even bigger. Okay and then we’re gonna make his wings, 也是在这里画一条锯齿形的线and those are gonna be zigzag lines over here, too. 这边也一样Make some zigzag lines. 啊 我应该……Well I should… Maybe draw some down here. No, no, that’s good, just draw right here. Zigzag lines right there and right here. You got a, yours has a really small body. I could draw that little part. Perfect! Well we’re gonna do some different there. That’s okay. You can keep going on. Uh, I’m gonna, we’re gonna draw, 剩下的羽毛rest of his feathers. Down here, just tail feathers. I can do it in this. Good. Yeah. That works perfect. And I even like it a little better than the way I did it. Kids at home should do that, too. Do little zigzags down here at the bottom and then do feathers. UPerfect Chuckers. Okey and then we’re gonna do a bunch of little “U”s, 就成了它肚子上的羽毛for the feathers on his belly. UOh, you’re doing them I’m down there, too. Perfect! Look that! You did it! You drew an owl. Is that fun? 很简单 对吧That’s pretty easy, huh? – 太棒了!- 太棒了!– It’s awesome!- It’s awesome. It kind of looks like a design, too, 有特定的规律It’s a little bit of a pattern huh. – 我抱了抱我的大拇指- 那我呢– I give my thump hug.- Hey what about me? Oh you angel give me five. 哈哈 真是调皮That was tricky. 好了 跟观众说再见吧Good job, alright, let’s say goodbye, 跟YouTube观众说再见吧 再见!Let’s say goodbye to YouTube. See you, too. 拜拜!Bye bye. Byebye!
I’ve been drawing since the age of 3 or 5. I don’t exactly remember the time. But it’s been quite a while since I’ve picked up a pencil. I started over drawing cartoons I used to see on TV because those things inspired me. They made me want to pick up a pencil 把一切都画出来and just draw the hell out. Then, I started with all the things I saw on movies. The movies that I like, animated movies especially, 还记得《阿拉丁》里面的那座城堡吗?you remember that castle from the movie Aladdin? Yeah, I drew that thing a lot. Somewhere during 2010, where all things changed for me 作为一个总是沉浸在卡通 画卡通的孩子as a kid who was always into cartoons and drawing cartoons, 我开始对现实主义(手法)产生兴趣I started getting interested in realism. 正如其名字所显现的As the name suggests, 现实主义就是将事物按其本身的模样realism is basically drawing something 原原本本地画出来exactly the way it is. What you see is what you get. I was really into video games. Back then, I even own an Xbox 360. I used to play with my friend, Man, those were some good times, oh yeah those were some good times. Anyways, I really liked the games that I played 想要(为它)画点什么来以示喜爱and I wanted to make some art for us to show my appreciation. So I bought some new pencils and paper 试着把游戏《刺客信条》里的角色画出来and tried drawing this character from this game called Assassins Creed. I remember putting a lot of time and effort into this piece 而且进展得还不错and it was coming off good, 我的感觉也一度很棒and I was feeling good about it. But when I finished it, 人物看起来…… 实在太难看太差劲了he was just the… bleh… yeah bleh! It was bad. It looked nothing like the original. 我感到很失望I was disappointed. But I did not give up. I pull up my sleeves, 拿起铅笔 又画了一次pick up my pencils and drew the same thing again. And this time, I sort of hit the mark. It was the first time in my whole artistic journey I felt that I’ve created something meaningful, 那感觉一直驱使着我 让我不愿就此打住and that drove me and I didn’t stop there. I continued down this path of making realistic drawings, 画我喜欢的游戏和电影(角色)drawing games and movies that I liked 几乎就在同一时期 我还开了自己的YouTube栏目and was also approximately the same time I started a YouTube channel, 用来记录我的绘画进展where I documented my drawing process and 让我惊讶的是 有人(对此)进行了回应to my surprise, people responded. So I kept drawing and drawing and drawing and 以这种形式快速完成大量产出churning out videos in this manner 直到我对现实主义手法丧失所有激情和灵感until I lost all motivation and inspiration I had for this art form. So, I decided that I would try something different. 几年前A couple of years back, 《愤怒的小鸟》是最热门的游戏Angry Birds was the hottest game in the market 我也很喜欢那个游戏and I absolutely loved that game. And it’s also the time when the first Avengers movie was coming out. So, me being a big Marvel fan boy and Angry Bird fanatic 我决定试试将二者相结合decided that I would try something with both of these. I combined the Avengers and the Angry Birds and 我创造出新物种 愤怒的复仇小鸟created something called the Angry Birds Avengers 那条视频在当时成为爆款and boy did that video blew up back then. Gained over a hundred thousand views back in the day, 而我之前的现实主义绘画视频 记不太清了compared to my other videos getting somewhere no, I don’t know, 也就一两千点击量而已thousand or two thousand views of me drawing realistic stuff. Yeah. It was kind of nice to finally get some recognition for your art. And it was also the time that a mentor of mine told me that 我应该停止模仿I need to stop copying stuff 如果我想要做些有意义的事and start making my own original art 我就要开始制作原创作品了if I want to do something meaningful. And that drove the idea home for me 打造自己的卡通 角色和世界to create my own cartoons, characters and worlds. That’s what a real artist needs to get started. I was really bad at making up my own stuff to begin with. By drawing slight originality, it seemed I was bad at my art fundamentals. My videos weren’t doing good, 因为人们不太喜欢我画卡通的新路数because people didn’t like my new path of making cartoons. So basically, everything just became more bleh. 我停手了So, I stopped. I threw in the towel. I stopped making videos. I stopped drawing and got a job. But my passion for art was still lurking in the background 正因如此 我不能集中注意力到工作上and I wasn’t able to focus on my job because of that. I wasn’t able to focus on two things at the same time. 于是 2015年9月4日那天So, on September 4th of 2015, 我决定放弃艺术I decided that I would quit art. But something on the inside 在讲……既然你真打算要放弃艺术told me that… so if you’re indeed gonna quit art, 为什么不每天先花个10-15分钟做些基础练习why don’t you just spend 10 to 15 minutes a day doing the daily stage 然后按部就班过完那一天 怎么样then just go on about your day. How about that? So, yeah. That’s what I did. I listened to that voice and 2015年9月5号 我开始每天画画on September 5th of 2015, I started drawing daily. I opened up an Instagram account, 每天早上我去上班went for my day job in the morning 晚上回到家and would come back home at night 然后完成我的每日一画发到网上and do my daily sketch and post it. People barely noticed at that time 但老实讲 我没太在乎and I didn’t care, to be honest. Because I was again, not good at what I do. So, I kept at it – drawing and posting, drawing and posting, 不停歇地画完就发drawing and posting every single day. I never worried about where things are going in terms of my art. All I focused was on showing up to practice every day. I saw minor improvements here and there, 但并没有特别明显的but nothing significant, 最后我的热情燃烧殆尽and eventually got burnt out. So, I decided that I would take a little break on my 161st day 好好回顾一下 再重新评估评估自己的行动to think things through and reassess some stuff. And when I got back, I kept up on my daily sketch. But this time, I was focused on 一定每天都要练习 只要大部分日子有练就行just showing up for most days instead of every day 想要休息时 我就去休息and took a break when I needed it. I drew pieces that surprised me. I got good at my fundamentals, 磨练并融会贯通自己的绘画技巧learning and mastering the basis of my art. I studied other artists who inspired me, 探究他们为什么要那样作画 以及是如何作画的learned why they draw what they draw and how they drew it. I incorporated what I liked from them and 摒弃那些不喜欢的部分discarded why I didn’t like about them. I learned to see life 因为我意识到 不管是日本动漫还是美式卡通because I realized that all these artistic styles like animes and cartoons and such 这些艺术风格都是对生活的个性化演绎are just personal renditions of the original, which is life itself. So I started learning to see the very source of all these arts. Because a wise man once said, “Art is not about drawing. It’s about learning how you see.” I kept on with this process, and one day, I saw a comment on my social that said, 兄弟 我真喜欢你的风格Man, I really like your style. Style? What style? 我没有风格 我有风格吗?I don’t have a style. Do I have a style? I do have a style. Wait, how do I get that style? Here’s how I found my style. One, style is a decision. It’s a combination of big and small decisions you make when you’re making something. The first step is to stop trying so hard to find your style. You don’t have one style. You have many 而且你的风格很有可能会变化and your style will probably change 所以不要试着根植于某种风格and it will also stop trying to land on one style, 也就是那种你下半辈子都要遵从的which you will hold dear for the rest of your fricking life. Step 2. To learn to see. See life, other artists, experiences and things 哪些是你喜欢的 哪些你不喜欢what do you like, what you dislike, 哪些能引起你的兴趣 把它们记下来what interests you, and take note of it. You have to then incorporate what you see 那些你喜欢的部分what do you like about the things you saw. Do you like to put that in your own work? You do that with all the art that you see, 融入你生活中的亲身经历the experience that you come across in the life you live. That’s when you find your style. We do all these things 当你在进行创作的时候when you do the work of actually making something, 你最终就会找到属于自己的风格you’ll eventually land on your current code style 最后获得的 甚至都无足轻重and in the end, it doesn’t even matter. Because style is a byproduct, not the result. A byproduct of actually doing the work that you find meaningful. Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial! I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will draw a crystal snail. For this we will use a Cretacolors and we will start with the black. The exact list of materials is in the information below 这个视频的下方the video. We begin by sketching the shell its general shape. I usually first do a very light line, which is hardly visible, 我开心的时候 我就会画得重一点and then once I am happy I go over it harder. 就像这样Like so. 不错Good! And then the snail itself. 就是这里Right here. We will do the eyes at about the same height of the shell. The snail head, and the other eye over here. 这部分是圆的The tips are rounded. These proportions are not totally realistic as this is going to be a glass 玻璃雕塑sculpture. We do the bottom part of the body … and then we refine the shape. I think it should be just a little bit shorter. So we erase and correct that. These pencils can be erased, which it is a nice feature. 这张画要做到非常简约 但也要有出色的视觉效果 希望吧[笑]This drawing is going to be very simple, but with a nice effect, I hope! [laughter]. Now we begin doing the reflections. We start with the dark ones. And they are going to follow, of course, the shape of the masses. Here goes the kind of spiral shape. Most of the masses are rounded. Imagine the shape of the surface and the reflection more or less 跟着形状变化 当然 可能在朝向上should follow that, although of course it can be in different 有些出入directions too. And now with the white pencil we do the light reflections. 这很有趣This is so fun! And it is fairly easy to do. With just a few touches we can represent the glass, we could 我们甚至可以直接在这儿停笔 很好看也很真实almost leave it like this and it would look nice and realistic. But we will go a little further. By the way, in the near future on this channel, we will have 我们会有很多的活动different activities. We will do some live chats and we will also have art contests 你可以在绘画技术上得到练习以及丰厚的奖励to which you will be able to participate and win nice prizes! So stay tuned, and I suggest you to activate the notifications, on 关注我们Fine Art-Trips的主频道the main channel page of Fine Art-Tips, so that you get 你就可以及时观看最新一期的视频notified when a new video is uploaded. Some of the reflections, both black and white, are very faint 很难看到 也有一些会非常黑and hardly visible … and other ones are very dark. As you see I also projected some of the reflections on the ground. 在地面表面上On the surface. And now we give it some touches with a very light blue. It can hardly 这一块很难被察觉到 但是我不想只有黑色和白色的视觉效果be perceived but I want to take off the effect of being just black and white. I do this, lightly, throughout the shell, the snail, and also some on the ground. 非常好Very good! The last touches and it´s ready! If you enjoyed it please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends 订阅我们Fine Art-Tripsand subscribe to Fine Art-Tips.
Hey Welcome to Proko my name is Stan Prokopenko, 嘿 欢迎观看Proko 我是Stan Prokopenko a lot of you have been asking for a video on很多人要求我做一期关于明暗处理的视频 shading. The first thing you need to understand when starting to shade要进行明暗处理 is how light affects the appearance of form 首先要了解光线对形体的外观有什么影响 and how to properly capture 3 dimensional form 以及根据场景里光线的特性 based on the characteristics of the light in the scene. In some of my previous videos I talked about things like shapes, values and edges. But how do we know what shapes, values and edges to draw? What exactly are we looking for? Well, we’re looking at Light 没错 我们要看的是光线 and how it illuminates the objects in our picture. Light is the reason we see anything and the是光线让我们能看见东西 characteristics of light can completely change the appearance of the things it illuminates. So, I like to analyze the light in the scene and try to我喜欢分析场景里的光线 capture it, so the viewer can FEEL the light. Form looking 3-dimensional is a byproduct of correctly capturing the light on the form. Ok, so I hope I’ve convinced you that studying light on form is important. Now let’s take a look at all the elements. For this I’m gonna need an egg. For this I’m gonna need an egg. There are two main zones. Light and shadow. The edge where the form transitions from light to shadow is the terminator. It’s located at the tangent between the light source and位于光源与物体的切点处 the form. In other words, just before the planes start to face away from the light. Lets start by talking about the SHADOW side我们先从暗部开始 There are two types of shadows.有两种暗部 form shadow is a shadow caused by the planes turning away 暗面是由形体上的面背向光源产生的 from the light source. A cast shadow is caused by one form blocking the light from hitting投影是由一个形体挡住投射在另一个形体上的光线所形成的 another form. This egg is blocking the light from reaching this part of the table. You这个蛋挡住了照亮这块桌面的光线 can find this shape by projecting lines from the light source to the termination of the投影的形状可以从光源处向第一个形体的明暗交界线处画线 first form, and continuing those lines to the obstructed form. Shadows will rarely be completely black. Light bounces off objects in the environment and is reflected back into the shadows. This is called reflected light. In this case the light will bounce off the paper and into the shadowon the egg. Along the terminator, sometimes you will see a core shadow. It’s a darker plane that defines the edge of the shadow. The thickness and softness of the core shadow can vary quite阴影最暗处的厚度和柔和度变化空间很大 a bit. It depends on the thickness of the form, how sharp the edge is between the planes取决于形体的厚度 亮面与暗面之间边线尖锐度 of light and dark, or the angle and position of the reflecting light source. Sometimes you won’t see the core shadow at all. Only if there is something on the shadow side, to reflect back enough light 只有暗部这边有东西能反射足够多的光 to create a visible difference in value. This出现可见的明暗值变化才能看到阴影最暗处 dark piece of paper reflects less light than the white paper. You can see a drastic difference in the value of the reflected light. Also, regarding the visibility of a core shadow,还有 要想看到阴影最暗处 the reflection has to come from the right反射光要从正确的方位照过来 angle. If it’s directly behind the shadow side, 如果是从暗部的正后方 it will create a nice core shadow. If就会出现很漂亮的阴影最暗处 we move the reflection source closer to the angle of the main light source, 要是我们把反射光源往主光源方向移 it will illuminate the area where the core shadow would have been. If you don’t see a distinct core shadow, many artists choose to cheat one in because如果看不见阴影最暗处 许多艺术家会自己造一个 it can add to the 3-dimensionality of the form. Reflected light doesn’t just affect form shadows. It also affects cast shadows. Less light can bounce into this deep crevice where the egg and table meet, 在这里蛋与桌面的交接处 较少的光线能反射进去 and so that area gets darker as it goes deeper. This is called an Occlusion shadow. Moving on to the light zone, immediately after the terminator, is the halftone. These are来看亮部 紧靠明暗交界线的另一边是中间调 planes of the form that are partially hit by the direct light. As the planes get closer and closer to facing the light, they will get lighter. And the point where the form points directly at the light is called the center light. The center light shouldn’t get confused with the highlight. The difference between the two is that the center light is the plane facing the light source, 区别是中央光是朝向光源的面 whereas the highlight is a reflection of the light source. A reflection will move depending on where the viewer is. So let’s say this is the egg. The viewer, or camera is down here, and the light source is over here. The center light will be here facing the light source. The highlight however中央光就会在这里 对着光源 will need to be at the point where the light can bounce off the surface of the egg and高光则在蛋上既能折射光线又能被观者看见的点上 reach the viewer’s eyes. These two angles need to be equal. If you’ve played billiards, this is very similar. To test this concept let’s mark the point of the highlight,为了测试这个概念 我们标一下高光点 and mark another point for the center light. Now let’s move the camera and see what happens. Ok, you can see here我们把摄像机转一下 看一下会有什么变化 that the highlight moved to a different spot, following the camera. The center of light你们可以看见 高光随着摄像机跑了 hasn’t changed. It still pointing directly at the light source. Don’t let the math of all this confuse you. Highlights, and also cast shadows which we discussed earlier, can be changed 高光和之前提到的投影是可以改的 and they can still look believable. Nobodys going to call you on a highlight being in the wrong spot. I can take the highlight on this egg, move it to a different spot, and change the shape. And it still looks believable… I’ll often change the shape of a cast shadow我经常会改变投影的形状 to better describe the form it is being cast 来体现这个投影被投到什么形体上 onto. For example if I have an object that casts a shadow appearing to go against the例如 如果我有一个东西看起来是投影在这个形体上 form. The form of this paper towel roll is a cylinder and to show that I would change这个纸卷的形体是圆柱 为了显示这个 the cast shadow from the egg to wrap around the cylinder. I usually try to describe the form that the shadow is casting on to, 我通常画的都是投影投到的形体 rather than the form casting the shadow. So, give yourself artistic license. Learn the rules,所以给自己个艺术破格特许吧 先学习作画规则 and then learn how you can break the rules to improve your drawing… Just want to let you guys know, I will be releasing a DVD very soon. DVD So, keep your eyes out. It’s gonna have all the video tutorials I’ve done so far, PLUS a few extras that will be available only on the dvd. I’m hoping to have it available in the next few weeks. And as always, if you liked this video, 还有照例 如果你喜欢本视频 share it with your friends. Hey, our friends. Did you know that Mario Day is March 10th? MAR’That’s because when you abbreviate March, it’s MAR. IOAnd then when you put 10 at the end of it, it looks like IO. It looks like it spells out Mario. I thought that was really cool, so today we’re gonna draw Mario. So I hope you’re gonna follow along with me. You got a marker and some paper. Now, we’re gonna take this lesson one step at a time 我会尽量画的容易又好看 方便那些刚入门的朋友们and try to keep it nice and easy for our young art friends. But if I ever go too fast, 请记住可以暂停视频 多花点时间来看remember you can pause the video, if you need extra time. We’ll start by drawing his nose right here, 尽量在纸张中间靠上的地方in the middle of the paper, but towards the top. And that’s so that we have enough room for his body down here. So we’re gonna draw the letter “C” and this is for his nose. Now we want to close down the “C” just a little further. Then we’re gonna draw his eye. And we’re first gonna draw the left eye and it’s behind his nose. So we’re gonna draw an oval 然后上色and then we’re gonna color it in. Now I’m gonna draw this a little taller, 所以多涂几下 让眼睛更高些so I can go over it again and draw that eye taller. Now let’s draw his right eye. And we’re gonna draw the same oval, 但要画的大一点except we’re gonna draw more of it 因为右眼没有被鼻子挡住because it’s not being hidden by his nose. We’re gonna draw an oval, 大约这么大about that size 然后也上色and we can color that one in too. Now let’s draw his really cool mustache. We’re gonna start here on his nose. I’m gonna draw a curve that comes up, close to his eye. Now we’re gonna draw the bottom part of his mustache. U’We’re gonna draw “U”s that are connected to each other. U’We’re gonna draw three “U”s first. 一个 两个 三个So, one… two… three. 然后差不多胡子就画到底了and we’re really close to the end of the mustache, 我们用一个更大一点的’U’连起来but we’re gonna connect it with one more “U”, 像这样 画好啦just like that, to finish it. Next we’re gonna draw his mouth. U’We’re gonna draw another “U” that’s a little taller 先向下 再合起来and it comes down, back up. And then we’re gonna draw his tongue 要在嘴巴里面 就像这样inside of his mouth, just like that. Starting to look like him. Well, we’re gonna draw his chin underneath his mouth. So it’s gonna be another “U” shape 曲线向下 再向上that curves under and comes back up. Now, right here on the end, 我们画个反向的’C’做为耳朵we’re gonna draw a backward “C” for his ear 大约和鼻子差不多大and it’s about the same size as his nose. C’We’ll start here. We’re gonna drop a big backwards “C”. Now inside of his ear, 再画个和大’C’相对的小’C’let’s draw another “C” going the other direction, forward “C”. And then right here, we could draw a little line inside, E’almost looks like the letter “E”. Now let’s draw his forehead. We’re gonna come back up to his nose. Now we’re gonna draw a little line just in front of his eyes. Now we’re ready to draw his hat. We’re gonna draw the front of his hat. 帽舌伸出去The visor comes out, 然后反转画曲线and then it’s gonna curve back around 一直延伸到耳朵and all the way down to his ear. Now if that lines are a little tricky, 你可以暂停视频慢慢画you could always pause the video to take extra time to draw that line. Now we’re gonna finish the visor. We’re gonna start right here. And we’re gonna draw an “S” line. So we’re gonna curve up first 然后向下靠近眼睛and then back down close to his eye 然后在后内刃这连接and now we’re gonna connect it back in. And we wanna leave a little gap for his sideburns, 在耳朵的右边right in front of his ear. Next we’re gonna draw the rest of his forehead 向上弯曲连到帽子coming up and curving into his hat. And then we could color in this bottom part. Right here. Now we could draw the top of his hat. We’re gonna draw a big curve that comes up 然后向下 离耳朵相当近and then back down, and it gets really close to his ear, 但它们并没有挨着but it doesn’t touch, doesn’t connect. Now I could draw the back of his hat. And it’s just a little bump comes out and connects to his ear. Next let’s draw this circle on the front of his hat. M’This is where the “M” is for Mario. We’re gonna draw a circle but it doesn’t connect all the way. It’s just part of a circle 因为下面是帽舌because the rest of it is behind his visor. Okay, now we’re gonna draw his sideburns. We’ll draw two curves that come out from his hat. 3′Then right here, we’re gonna draw a backwards 3 来连接这两条线to connect the two lines. All right, we did it. We finished drawing his face. M’Now later, we’re gonna add an “M” with our red colored pencil. But first let’s come down here and finish his body and his arms. U’So we’re gonna draw a sideways “U”. U’It’s almost an upside-down “U”. This is for his arm. Now we could draw his hand at the end of his arm. We’ll draw a curve that connects these two lines. Now we’re gonna draw his thumb. Looks like a sideways “U”. And then down here, at the bottom, 换一个方向画一道曲线let’s draw another curve going the other direction. Now this hand is closed like a fist. So we’re gonna draw another curve 一直延伸 直至画完整个手that comes all the way around and completes his hand. He has gloves and he’s got these two 上面有两个标记little marks on the top of his hand. So we’re gonna draw raindrop shapes, two of them, 彼此相靠right next to each other, 然后上色and then we’re gonna color them in. Now we’re ready to draw his body. We’re gonna start at his chin. We’re gonna draw a big half circle that comes all the way around. So we’re gonna start here, all the way around 一直到连接手and then we’re gonna connect into his hand. Next we’re gonna draw his overalls. So we’re gonna draw another shape just like this one, but a lot smaller. We’re gonna start right next to his arm. We’re gonna come around and connect to his wrist. U’Then we’re gonna draw a square “U”, just under his chin. We’ll go down over and then back up. On his belly, he has two buttons, yellow buttons. We’re gonna draw a circle first. It’s a pretty big circle. And we’re gonna draw as an oval. Well, this is the button that’s sideways. It’s on the other side of his body. And we wanna make sure that the height of that button 和这个圆一样is the same as the circle that we drew. 身体我们就画完了We finished his body. Let’s draw his other arm back here, 好像他准备要去锤东西一样like he’s getting ready to punch something. So we’re gonna draw a diagonal line coming out of his chest. We’ll draw the end of his glove next. Draw a little curve that connects to his arm 另一头连着胡子and then into his mustache. Now let’s draw his thumb 从鼻子这开始and it’s coming out of his nose. U’It’s a U-shape coming right out of his nose. And then we’re gonna draw the rest of his hand. So it’s gonna come down, out of the thumb. And it’s gonna come around and then connect back to his nose. Now, down here, at the bottom, 我们要把手指和手套末端连起来we need to connect his fingers to the end of his glove. So we’ll draw another curve that comes in and then stop. So we don’t wanna connect to his mustache. Now he’s missing his feet. 我们下面画脚Let’s draw those next. We’re gonna draw a U-shape, right here, underneath his fist. We’re gonna start here. Draw a big U-shape, comes down, 然后往上 连到手套and then comes back up and connects to his glove. Then we need to draw the bottom of his shoes. So we’re gonna draw another line that comes out of his glove. And it’s gonna have a little bump right here. And then we’ll come back out 再往内到鞋头and into the front of his boot. Now let’s draw his left foot. 我们要画一个开口向下的‘U’We’re gonna draw an upside down “U”. We’re gonna start where his button is. We’re gonna draw an upside down “U” that comes out and then down. Then we’re gonna draw his heel, comes in. And we’re… we don’t wanna touch his belly yet. We’re gonna draw a little end to a shoe. 所以再画一条曲线 像个字母‘L’So another curve that comes in, looks like the letter “L”. Okay, now we need to draw the bottom of his shoe or his boot. We’re gonna draw… comes out and down. And then right at the end, we’re gonna draw his heel. Comes back out and then back in. We did it! We finished drawing Mario. 还挺神气的He turned out awesome, 不过上色的话 他会更酷except he’s gonna look so much cooler, once we color him. Now this part I’m gonna fast forward, 不过在最后 你们可以暂停视频 涂上相同的配色but at the end, you guys can pause it to match the same color. Now I’m all finished coloring and I also forgot to 我忘了画耳朵下面的一点头发draw the last little bit of hair right below his ear. So you guys can add that in with a curve and then color that brown. I hope you guys are gonna pause the video right now, 把相同的涂色配上to match the same coloring. It looks so much better when your drawing is all colored in. I hope you had a lot of fun following along with me 然后画出你自己的马里奥and drawing your own Mario. And we’ll see you later, our friends. The first and most important part of a figure drawing is the layin. Without a good layin you rarely end up with a good drawing. In the last lesson we learned the average proportions of the body. The problem with that is when the body moves out of the static soldier pose, those measurements问题是当人体不再以军姿形态站立时 change the way they’re are perceived by our eye. 透视关系改变了尺寸的相关性 If drawing from imagination画想像出来的人物时 you can remember the proportions 可以记住比例 and do your best to apply perspective to them. If drawing from a reference photo or a model如果是在临摹或写生 we are given the opportunity to measure. A direct way to transfer the effects of perspective to our drawing. Measuring is exclusive to observational drawing测量法只在观察式绘画时使用 and you won’t use it so much when drawing from imagination,自由创作时一般用不上它 but it’s important to practice because但是练习测量法很重要 it tunes your eye to what’s correct. We can use all sorts of measuring tools 有很多测量工具可供选择 like calipers or string. I like to use the tool already in my hand – the pencil! 1.Hold your arm straight out, without bending the elbow. Bending the elbow will bring the measurement肘部弯曲会让测量工具靠近眼睛 closer to your eye and increase the size. The measurement will be consistent if the elbow is locked. 2.Tilt your head to bring the eyes as close as possible第二步 将头歪向拿铅笔的那侧 to the pivot point at your shoulder. This is important to keep 这个步骤很重要 the measurements consistent throughout the whole subject. If you dont do this. When measuring around the top of the pose, 不然的话 测量对象顶部区域时 the pencil will be closer to your eyes and 铅笔会靠近眼睛 when measuring around the feet it will be farther from your eyes. This difference in the distance makes the measurements inconsistent. Keep your eye near the shoulder to minimize this. 4.Use the tip of the pencil as the top point of whatever第四步 不管测量对象是什么 you’re measuring and put your thumb at the bottom point. 5.Now that you have the unit, you can compare第五步 这样就有了基本单位 it to another part of the figure. For example, it’s very common to count how many head lengths fit in the height of the pose. Move your measurement down below the chin将基本测量单位移到下巴处 and note where your thumb is. Repeat that down the figure and count the units. This pose is 7.5 heads tall. You can do this to measure relationship of除了用头部高度 anything in the pose, not just the head. You can say the length of this arm is 你可以说左边的胳膊长度 the same as the length of the lower leg跟左边小腿部分是一样的 or whatever works for the pose. The approach I’m suggesting here does NOT require that the size you measured 我推荐的这个方法并不是说 with the pencil be directly transferred to the paper at the same size. That would be called the sight-size method,那种方法叫等比例画法 where the drawing is the same size as the subject you are seeing. The approach I’m showing today involves measuring relationships今天要教的方法跟测量对比关系有关 to make the composition fit on the size surface you’re working on. We’ve established that the pose is 7.5 head talls. The size of our paper allows the pose to be about this big, 画纸的尺寸决定了造型的大小 so mark the top and bottom. Then break it up into 7.5 units. That tells you how big the head should be on the page 这样就知道在画纸上 头部应该画多大 and you have points for all the places 其他基本单位的位置 where the head units lie on the pose. Doing this helps to prevent one of the most common rookie mistakes,这样做能避免新人最容易犯的错误 progressively drawingthings bigger as you go down the page, 越往下画 画的越大 or smaller as you go down the page. This happens because we get tunnel-vision. We focus on the small portion of the drawing we are currently working on. We relate things only to the things near them 就会只留意到它跟近处局部的关系 instead of the whole picture. And if we tend to measure things slightly bigger than they really are, 所以测量时 尺寸但凡偏大了一点点 the drawing will slowly get bigger and bigger 整幅画就会越往下画 as we work our way down the page. Relating the whole thing first is a way to 整体对比的方法 step back and look at the big picture. Make sure the foundation works before we add the parts. Already this tells us a lot and it makes这样已经有了不少参考点 measuring the rest of the figure much easier. We can also rotate the head unit horizontally 也可以把头部高度横过来 and do the same thing for the width of the pose. Notice how in this pose the head is closer to the left side. Avoid putting it in the exact center by default, 不要想当然的把头部画到最中间 since that could create an unbalanced composition. Think about the placement of the drawing vertically AND horizontally. At this point you could also find the center point of the pose这时候 可以通过均分高度和宽度 by dividing the height and width in half. Then find where that center point is on the model. In this pose the center point is about here in his right glute. With the head units in place, we can start drawing in the shapes. Start with the largest shapes and use simple lines. The largest shape we can use is what’s called the Envelope. Use large angles connecting the outside points of the whole pose. Imagine if the pose was gift wrapped. Doing this allows you to look at the big picture这样做可以从整体入手 and establish its perimeter. Everything else should fit inside this shape. Now start observing the next largest shapes along of the body. Focus on getting the angles right with simple gesture lines. Remember that a gesture line can be 姿势线条可以是直线 either a straight line, C curve or S curve. It should capture the motion of the form. This allows you to get the big picture working 这个方法可以在深入细节之前 without committing to any details. You can easily make corrections as you go. Once you start adding subtleties in the contours, 一旦开始在轮廓线中增加细节 it’s less likely that you will change things, 就不太需要做什么调整 and if you do, it’s more time consuming如果角度不准确 就需要花费很多时间修改 because you have to redo all the details. So, “keep it simple stupid” and worry only about the major relationships at first. It’s also a good idea to keep your lines thin and light. Most of these initial construction lines will need to be erased later,大多数结构线最后都需要擦掉 so if you draw dark thick lines, you’ll end up with a very messy drawing. Though we are drawing gesture lines here, 这里虽然画了姿势走向线 it’s a bit different from the 30 second- 5 minute quicksketches 但这和我们课程最初讲的 we did in the beginning of this course.30秒-5分钟的速写画法是不一样的 In the quicksketches, we were not too concerned about the proportions. Only the motion and energy. It’s hard to get accurate proportions in a 30 seconds sketch.30秒的速写很难准确画出身体比例 In this lesson we are much more concerned about proportions. As a result we will lose some gesture because 因为今天不会对动作做夸大的处理 we’re not exaggerating as much, or not at all. It’s a side effect of careful measuring. Usually, my goal is to construct accurately 通常我的目标是 在准确起型的同时 while capturing as much gesture as possible. A plumb line is an exact vertical line that 垂线是一条绝对垂直的线 you can drop to see alignments within the pose. If drawing from a model we can 如果是模特写生 actually use a string with a weight at the end 可以用一条尾部挂铅坠的线 to determine a perfect vertical. Here we see that the acromion 这里可以看到 process aligns with the inside of the heel. Also the armpit aligns with the outside of the knee, and ball of the foot.… We can also use horizontal alignments. Horizontal and vertical measurements are more accurate than angles. They are much easier to get right 用这个方法更容易画的准确 because you can align them with the edge of the paper因为你可以用纸的边缘来校准 and we tend to have a pretty clear vision 而且我们对垂直和水平的概念 in our mind of a horizontal and vertical. Subtle angle variations can make a big difference. Such as measuring an angle from the head to the shoulders to find the width of the shoulders. If your angle is slightly off on both sides, 只要两边的角度略有偏差 the shoulders end up being wider or narrower than you intended. It’s ok to use angle relationships,用对比关系角度是没问题的 I do all the time, 我自己也经常用 just keep in mind that there’s more room for error. Double check them when possible with verticals and horizontals. Something that might help to measure angles is triangulation 三角测量法能更好的进行角度测量 measuring angles of 3 points instead of 2. If we’ve determined these 2 points to be correct 如果已知这两点的位置是准确的 and we’re trying to find the placement of a third,需要确定第三点的位置 we can estimate the angle from one point and then the other. If these two estimates don’t match, 如果预测的结果和实际不符 well then we have to re-measure them. The actual point is probably somewhere in between. Then we can look at the triangle shape made 然后可以将这几个点构成的三角形 by these points and compare that. This gives us another chance to catch a mistake 这样除了对比线条角度 还可以对比形状 since we’re looking at a shape not just the angle of a line. Each pose has its own solutions, relationships 每个造型都有适合自己的测量方法 that make the most sense to measure for that particular pose. For example, in this pose the length from比如说这个造型 the elbow to the fingertips is exactly 2 head units. However in this pose it’s not a nice whole number. It’s a little bit less than two. So, you might need to look for other relationships 所以就得找与其他部位的对比关系 that will help you find that length. A plumb line from the fingertips lines up with the edge of the pinky of the other hand. And the elbow lines up with the point directly in the middle of the chest. It’s nice when things relate with whole numbers. But, sometimes you’ll need to take your best guess 但有时候 你只能尽可能的去估算 at “a little bit less than 2”. And then check it with other relationships. Another trick to find accurate shapes is to look at the negative shapes. A negative shape is the space around or between the subject. The shape here between the thighs is a triangular shape. This shape is easier for us judge then the shapes of the thighs themselves 相比大腿的形状 我们更能准确把握这个三角形 because we have less preconceived opinions 因为我们没有多少已知的形状 about what that shape should look like. So, we are more likely to make an unbiased evaluation of the negative shapes. If something looks wrong, then it’s wrong, 不管你反复量了多少次 no matter how many times you measured it. The mistake might be between a relationship you didn’t measure 可能是你忘了测量某个对比关系 or the small margins of error in the measuring 或者测量时有小偏差 compounded to make a significant mistake. Being a millimeter off while holding the pencil up, 铅笔举起来时偏差1毫米 can add up to inches in your drawing. So, measuring will get you close, 测量能帮你画的接近准确 but its much more important to develop your eye 但更重要的是训练你的眼睛 to see relationships without a ruler. Your eye can be a much better tool than a ruler. The way to develop this is to do a lot of careful drawings 通过大量人体精准比例的绘画练习 focusing on getting accurate proportions. When you practice these exercises,在进行这些绘画练习时 it’s important to have a feedback loop. Either have someone with a trained eye to check your drawing 要么找专业人士来检查你的作品 or have a method to check it yourself. In the premium section I introduce two methods of practicing and checking yourself. Now that all the major shapes are in place, 现在主要的形状都确定了 it’s safe to focus on the smaller parts可以放心的增加细节 and add the more subtle plane changes along the contours and within the forms. This episode has been about capturing accuracy. But how important is accuracy? That’s up for debate of course.. I don’t think the answer is the same for everyone. How much do you want to change your reference? How important is it that you capture the exact likeness of the subject? Or is it more important to capture the feeling in an expressive way? There’s a balance to this and that’s partly what determines your style. In the early stages of your learning process focus on complete accuracy. Make it as perfect as possible to tune your eye尽可能画的一模一样 and to develop the ability to draw accurately. Don’t choose to be more expressive没有掌握准确度之前 simply because you’re not capable of accuracy yet. Expand your abilities so that you have the choice. Lean towards accuracy when the job requires it出于工作需要时 倾向准确性 or you lean towards expression when the artwork calls for it. For practice, start by separating the two concepts练习时 要把这两种理念分开 Do longer careful drawings focusing on getting accurate proportions花更多时间练习比例精准度的绘画 And do shorter sketches focusing on gesture用速写练习姿态的表达 Eventually the two will mold together and be part of your thought process.最终这两种理念会融合在你的思考过程中 Ultimately during each stroke 到最后你画的每一笔 you will be making subconscious decisions considering both accuracy and expression. In the next video I’ll show you how to use 下一个视频我会教大家 these principles in an actual figure drawing. I’ll take you step by step through the whole process. This video is available in the Premium Section. I also show you 2 methods of practicing measuring and checking yourself. So if you’re interested in seeing that and the rest of the Figure Drawing Fundamentals如果你对人物绘画基础的其他课程感兴趣 Course, check out proko.com/figure.请访问proko.com/figure The Full course has extended versions and a lot of examples from the lessons like, gesture,整个课程都有升级版 以及大量课程及案例 structure, bean, robo bean, mannequinization, balance, 课程包括姿态 结构 体块造型 机器豆造型 雾化效果 exaggeration, proportion, measuring and shading. A lot of information and it’s very affordable.海量信息 价格实惠 Proko.com/figure.尽在Proko.com/figure If you like this video, share the wealth, tell your friends. Post it on your favorite social network. Click this button here to subscribe to the Proko newsletter 点击订阅Proko新闻 if you want to be updated about new videos.

I like the shape.我觉得这轮廓不错 我挺喜欢的 I like that shape. This is a bad shape. Oh, they’re coming in.哦 它们靠近了 – Oh dude, this is great! – 是啊 Oh, this is awesome! – This is where the shapes are. So this just loops around, comes back. This is Florida’s only native palm tree right here. – It’s also our state tree. Yeah.– 哦 是吗? – 也是我们的州树 嗯 – It looks a lot like – – It’s called the Sabal palm.– 它看起来跟…… – 叫作菜棕 – a lot of other palm trees跟别的棕榈树很像 Now, and then the black bears will actually pull the center out.…… – The center of the palm tree.– 什么中心? The small ones, they’ll actually put it right out, and they’ll eat it. We call it swamp cabbage.我们叫它沼地卷心菜 – And it’s good? – It’s really good actually.– 好吃吗? Wish we could find one. If we had a chainsaw,如果我们有链锯就好了 cause we’ve cut them off… we cut them off with the chainsaws这样就能把它锯下来 then you peel it back. If you run your hand up or down… Feel that. Just push against it and move your hand up a little. Well, I can’t move it. When I was a kid, I shimmied up one我小时候曾经爬上去过 and then slid down… – Oh! Goddamn it. – Yeah, it was bad.– 哦! Is that what happened to your balls? Yeah… They grew five sizes that day. Yeah, this is cool. You wanna stop at some point? – This is actually – wow! – These are called black oaks.– 这真的是…… Dude, you don’t want to draw here? We can if you want. Cause it’s like… is there something… are you looking for animals? I was looking… I was gonna draw a marsh. 我打算画湿地 – Oh, there’s a marsh down there? I was thinking we could go back around under those oak trees,我在想我们可以绕回到橡树那边 and sit in the shade under the oak trees. – Okay, cool.– 坐在橡树的树荫底下 – 好 没问题 – But we can draw in here too if you want. That looks like a… the back of it like a dolphin. Well, you know what we used to do with… I actually had a job cutting of these off the trees我以前有个工作 要把它们从树上剪下来 when they’re fresh就是长在树上还新鲜的时候 and then you put an eye here, an eye here,然后这儿安一只眼睛 这儿安一只眼睛 a red nose and you cut notches into it加上一个红鼻子 凿出凹口 and you get a Florida red nose reindeer就是一只佛罗里达红鼻驯鹿了 And we sold them as Christmas ornaments as a novelty for people. That’s how we made extra money.我们的外快就是这么挣来的 – What company is this? – This is our family.– 这是什么公司? That was half a mile.我们走了半英里了 – Oh, is that the pier right there–哦 那个是码头吗? that you were talking about? Wait, are we back where we–? Yeah, we’re back where we started.是啊 回到了我们出发的地方 – Why did we do that? – Why not?– 为什么? Well, I thought we were going in there to draw!我以为我们是要去那边画画 –No, I said I couldn’t find anything. –I thought there was like–– 不 我说了没找到什么可画的 – 我以为那边是…… Oh no, I was just… show you around.哦 不 我只是带你转转 – We literally just did a circle. Look at the cranes are right there.快看那边的鹤 – Are we just back here, we’re gonna draw these again? – 不 – Because that would. – We’re going for the alligators.– 因为那就太…… I want you guys to see alligators before we go.我希望走之前你们能见到 All right, all right. Do you wanna draw here or do you wanna go back你想在这儿画 to… underneath the oak trees over there? This isn’t very inspiring.这不怎么让人振奋呀 you have to learn to look.哈哈 你要学会观察 – Now, that’s why I usually come out with like a long scope, – Yeah?– 这就是为什么通常我的画都是长视角 – 是吗? and sit and draw the birds from life,然后就像刚才我们画那些鹤一样 like we were just doing with the cranes. That’s a really good one. See, these stalks. Yeah. Are these the tasty ones? – Yeah. That’s a good one. – Okay. So, should I eat this one?– 嗯 好吃 口味很不错 – 噢 那我要尝尝吗? Well, we have to get it though. Give me some swamp cabbage.给我来点沼地卷心菜 – Here you go. – Oh, that one’s tasty?– 给你 – 哦 这个好吃? Just take a little bite off the end. Oh, come on. You can do it.你先试试看嘛 – just like leaves. All right. Oh my god! It tastes like Mexican food. It tastes like corn tortilla. No, I swear to god, it tastes like corn tortilla. – You don’t? 大哥 – This one tastes a little perfumey. – Are they all different?– 我这根吃着很香 – 每一根味道都不一样吗? Yeah. The problem with stalk grass is是的 柄草最不好的一点就是 you can only eat about that much of it你就只能吃这么短的部分 – And then it gets too mushy? – 太糙了 – All right. Well, that was lunch. – Yeah, there you go.– 好吧 嗯 刚才那就是午餐了 – 对啊 Dang! – The bumble bee on the pistil. – That’s a thick bumble bee.– 花蕊上有一只大黄蜂 – 超级肥的大黄蜂 Thicc! He’s just kind of sideways to us,他有点侧对着我们 so it’s no real depth to him.没什么立体感 Oh, he’s moving.噢 它动了 – I think I drew a hippo… It’s pretty cool actually. It’s super close. Taken out of your comfort zone, man. It’s good.走出舒适区 哥们 这很不错 – How did you do? – I know what I like less than cats.– 怎么样? I mean, the first pose was really cool, and then this…我想说 第一个姿势真的很好 然后这个 – he had the head got hidden, – I know.– 它的头部被挡住了 – 我明白 and I don’t know what I’m looking at. I don’t know where that far eye is. They’re actually kind of close together on the top of the head.其实它两只眼睛在头顶靠的很近 – That’s what I kind of thought from the front. – Yeah.– 从前侧看 我也这么想的 – 嗯 – Like the eyes are like in– – Yeah, that’s exactly right. Yeah, just like that.– 眼睛就像是在…… But it looked weird because when I saw your drawing,但看着有点奇怪 因为我看你的画 it weren’t so close. It looks… but it looks better. It looks cooler when they were like–看起来会更酷 如果这样画…… I just — I screwed it up though,我就…… 其实我画砸了 cause they should be closer together.因为两只眼睛确实是要更近一点的 – Are you saying mine is better? Oh, he’s moving his tail. He’s moving his tail back and forth.它的尾巴在来回动 – I mean, I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m going to look if I can fix mine. No dude, that looks good.不 哥们 看着挺好的 I’m not done. I’m thinking of adding some white sky. The tree, trees, look, see? Tree is something I can handle, and alligator.树我还是画得来的 还有短吻鳄 – That’s a good looking tree. – Out of my league, man.– 这树很漂亮 – 这还不是我强项 哥们 Do you see the bald eagles chasing each other? I saw one, one of them.– 我看到一只 – 其中一只 One right there… Oh, there’s three.– 那儿有一只…… – 哦 那儿有三只 – Those two right there. – What is that third one?– 是那边的两只 – 那第三只是什么? – That’s a vulture. Those are bald eagles right there.那边那些才是秃鹰 How do you tell? They just seem to me like wings. Yeah, you can tell by their–嗯 要分辨的话 可以通过他们的 first of all, by the way he’s flying首先 看他飞行的方式 he’s a light… a lot lighter flyer, he’s not as heavy.这只飞得很轻 飞得没那么重 There are heavier flyers,那些飞得更重一点 and you can see their white tails, white heads when they’re closer. You see how much they’re flapping? Well, that was it for Gator drawing.好了 以上就是画鳄鱼的全过程了 – You drew a gator in the wild. – I did.– 你在野外画了一只短吻鳄 – 是的 – Thank You Aaron. – Yes, I’m glad you got to come to Florida.– 谢谢你 Aaron – 嗯 很高兴你来到佛罗里达 Yeah, well, this is all vulture poop,是啊 嗯 这都是秃鹫屎 cause all the vultures hang out here at night. – Sort of the land welcoming committee.– 厉害 – 有点“保护区欢迎委员会”的意思 If you guys haven’t heard yet,告诉大家 he recorded a lion-drawing demo,这位录了一期画狮子的视频 It’s about this big and we have it available at proko.com/blaise, B-L-A-I-S-E.这么大一幅 各位可以在proko.com/blaise上找到 拼写是B-L-A-I-S-E Yap, it was fun. It was…we recorded for two days,是的 我们录了两天 he goes over cat anatomy,复习了猫科动物解剖 shows you how to do it in charcoal, white charcoal学习怎么用炭笔来画 白色炭笔 Oh, on the mat board哦 在无光泽纸板上画的 – Mat board? Nice and cheap, nice and durable. You can draw on it, you can use a lot of it. You don’t have to worry about ruining it,不用担心画毁 but then it takes charcoal really well. So if you want animator of Lion King to show you如果大家想看《狮子王》的画师 how to draw a realistic lion…教你如何画一头“真”狮子 – I mean, yeah, I mean, it’s true. – Yeah.– 我想说 对 嗯 说得没错 – 对 – Alright, see you guys. Aaron Blaise isn’t just a successful Disney animator,Aaron Blaise 不仅是一名成功的迪士尼画师 he’s also built his own business selling courses on his website. If you haven’t built a website yet,如果您还没有自己的网站 and you want to make money with your art并且希望用自己的艺术作品赚钱 you should check out my sponsor Squarespace. Squarespace Squarespace isn’t just for building portfolios,Squarespace不仅可以帮您搭建作品集网站 along with the tools and support they provide you with还提供工具以及服务支持 they also have integrations with e-commerce tools同时 还提供综合电子商务工具 to help you turn your website into a viable business来帮助您将网站变现 Go to Squarespace.com for a free trial.登录网址Squarespace.com免费试用吧 And if you’re interested but what they have to offer,如果对他们提供的内容感兴趣 you can save 10% off your first purchase of website or domain通过下方链接 首次购买网站或域名可享受九折优惠 by using this link: Squarespace.com/proko.优惠链接是:Squarespace.com/proko Really? Hey everybody, welcome this is court jones here 今天我们将在这儿为你们画默画and today we’re going to be drawing memory sketches of you, 前段时间你们所提交的 自己的照片the proko students who submitted your photos some time ago. Now memory sketching is were we 大致的看一下图片look at the photo for just a brief amount of time and 试着画出整个漫画形象try to draw the entire caricature 不能返回去看照片 完全凭记忆画totally from memory without referring back at the photo. 目的在于The purpose of that 正如我在主课上说的is,as I said in the main lesson 培养你们的视觉记忆is to just develop your visual memory, 直到你们有更好的视觉记忆till you have better visual recall. Because when you draw caricatures, 你看照片看的越多the more you look at the photo, I think 画的就越像肖像the tendency is to draw more portrait-like. If you want better exaggerations, 笔随心动you wanna draw more from your memory,or what you think 或者是你所认为的记忆中的这张脸 突出的地方you remember about the face, things that stood out. When you do memory sketches 不要过于依赖照片and don’t rely on the photo as much 试着随性一点 并且在画画过程中不断尝试you tend to be more free and experimental in what your doing. Now I’ve done a bunch of celebrity memory sketches, and 你也知道这在某行程度上 有一点作弊的意思you know that actually in a sense is cheating a little bit 因为这些名人我都挺熟的because I am familiar with all the celebrities I’ve drawn. So I have more that just that 3 second 对他们的脸部印象早已超过3秒或15秒or 15 second memory of their faces in my memory banks. So, drawing people who’s faces are relatively unknown to me 你们这些在proko-hand的家伙们like you guys out there in proko-land, 事实上能更真实的检测我的默画水平is actually a much truer test of my memory sketching abilities. And I’ll show you more 当画画时 你可以有的想法of what you can expect when your drawing from memory I think. So let’s go ahead and get started. And I want you all just to keep in mind to 当我画这些的时候when I’m drawing these 不是为了达到完美的相像the point of these is not to get the perfect likeness. It’s not necessarily a technique thats going to 能够让你give you results that your going to put up 让你把画挂在墙上 装进文件on your wall and put in your portfolio. This exercise is just about doing the exercise, 就像是去体育馆锻炼its just like going to the gym to do the reps, 去举重 只是为了锻炼肌肉to lift the weights, its just building muscles. So most of these sketches are going to be throwaways. The true value in this exercise 仔细琢磨这些动作 练习它们is just going through the motions and doing it. Because while your doing and practicing this, 对于你所画(的东西)的视觉记忆会不断改善you are improving your visual recall in what your drawing. So lets go ahead and let Stan come in 给我一个接一个地展示照片 然后拿走它们and show me the photos and take them away one by one. 看30秒30 second glance 先别画 先观察Don’t draw yet, just watch. In my memory, what stands out was her short wide face and giant eyes. So I draw those frist. To make a face seem big and wide, features like the nose and mouth become smaller. I still try to draw good structure and symmetry. It’s easy to forget that when focusing on remembering alikeness. I recall there were no strong shadows on her face. So I keep the shading minimal I am inventing the design of the hair. I only recall that is was long and wave The likeness feels pretty good! Anf the exaggeration, whilr mild, is still funny. The angle of the head is wrong. But that’s not important for this exercise. Next time I will probably give a shorter nose and wider eyes that are farther apart. I loved this guy’s head. He was a very distinctive likeness with memorable shapes. It’s a short wide hair, with all of the features pushed down into the buttom under a massive head of hair. After like least sketching in the gesture, I commit to those shapes with darker lines. I have done several of these memory sketches in this session, so I’m pretty warmed up. When I’m warmed like this, my mind feels more responsive to the faces I see. And my drawings seem to come more naturally and easily. The values I’m adding now help me to definite the likeness more quickly than cross hatching can. For me, painting the shapes with values feels very nature. I can express what’s in my mind more quickly than I can with mere lines. We will cover digital painting in an upcoming lesson, because it may be that way for many of you too. Looking at the photo I now see that my likeness definitely isn’t perfect. I have the overall feeling right , I think. But as with many of my other memory sketches, I missed lots if the details. If I want to take this sketch further and improve it, I would keep the big shapes and replacement of everything. 之后要细心敏锐的观察照片 更加准确而谨慎的重绘特征…but then switch over to observing the photo carefully and redraw the features with more accuracy and care. This is how you can use memory sketching in your workflow. You can use the memory sketch thchnique to come up with the main concept for the exaggeration… 但是最后要完成工作 还是要回归照片…but then go back to the photo to finish the job. This right here is pabably my favorite gesture sketch of the bunch. There is just enough at this point to discem a likeness. And it perfectlyshows my style and taste as a caricaturist. Just thought I would mention that. This is also one of my favorite angles to draw a caricature form I lovetis mid-three-quarter view because it shows almost the whole face, while allowing me to indicate the three-dimensional structures. A three-quarter view like this will help you achieve a very dynamic feeling in your sketch. Overlapping shapes like the nose and cheeks help creat an active interplay of shapes. With the quick 3 second glance of the photo, I can’t quite recall the eye shape on this sketch either. But I remember that they had a happy expression, with the eyebags pushing up the lower lids. I’ m not sure if I got a great likeness here. Right now, it looks kind of like Civil War era Steven Spielberg. Actually ,he is kind of does look like Civil War Spiberg 要改善这幅画的话 我之后要把她他的头发加长点to improve he likeness here , I would give him longer hair in back. 还有 要让他的眉毛更向下倾斜点…and make his eyebrows more downward slanting. Also I think I gave him too mich of a bump in his nose. But, as I siad earlier, I do think the dynamtic feeling and energy in the sketches So, memory sketching, it’s tough. 它使你退缩It kicks your butt. Your not gonna get a lot of great sketches out of it just like me, most of my sketches 我的大多数草图 你懂的 我可能会把它们修改成更有趣 更准确的漫画are, you know, I could probably develop them into more interesting, more accurate caricatures. But that’s not the point of this exercise. The point of the exercise is to just do the exercise. Because it helps you develop your visual muscle memory. The more that you can do that, the more that you rely on your memory and your gut and your 当你制作漫画作品时 你可能会注意到我画的那些草图instinct when you are doing caricature work, I think you’ll probably notice that the sketches 那些花最少时间观察的主体I did when I was looking at the subject for the least amount of time, 实际上是更滑稽的夸张were actually my funnier exaggerations. They tended to be more bold and more risky and more fun. Really because I was drawing from what I thought I remembered about the person and what stood 他们外貌突出的 独特的或与众不同的 来作画的out about their likenesses, being unique or different from the average. And that’s the whole point of this. So, do these exercises as much as you can, do them as a warm-up 在你正式作画之前的热身before maybe you do your real work. But don’t get stressed out about it, if you don’t get great drawings, thats ok. Just relax, do the exercise and have fun. If you enjoyed this video, 就分享给你的朋友们吧share it and tell your friends. And if you wanna get updates on new videos, 点击网页proko.com 订阅新消息推送go to proko.com and subscribe to the newsletter.

In my last supplies video在上一个绘画工具视频中 I went over supplies that I use in my videos. Now let’s go over the ones I use for longer drawings,现在我们来看看我用来画那些能长时间保存的画作的工具 that are meant to be hung at a gallery or someone’s home. I commonly use charcoal on newsprint paper我画素描和向你们做展示时 when sketching and demonstrating.通常用炭笔和新闻纸 Newsprint is very cheap新闻纸很便宜 and an enjoyable surface to draw on而且用来画画非常享受 because of how cleanly it takes the charcoal. However newsprint is not archival. It will yellow and wrinkle over time. So, if you’re doing a longer drawing that you want to preserve,所以 如果你想画一幅用来收藏的大作 it’s not a good option. So, let’s go over some archival options. So, the first option I’m gonna go over is using graphite pencils,那么 我要讲的第一种工具是石墨铅笔 instead of charcoal.而不是炭笔 Graphite pencils are great! They get you almost a full range of values,它能画出几乎全范围的灰度 you can get a bunch of them with varying degrees of hardness,你能买到一堆硬度不同的石墨铅笔 they allow for very precise detail drawing,能用来绘制非常精确的细节 and they don’t smudge much.. Most of us have been using graphite pencils since first grade. It’s your everyday #2 pencil. So, we’re comfortable using it. Graphite works best when using only the tip of a finely sharpened pencil. Since you’re always using the tip,只要你一直用笔尖作画 the drawing ends up being very detailed. The medium wants to be very precise,画作要细致 but it also takes a much longer time to shade. Though you can just use any old #2 pencil to do a drawing,尽管你可以用随便一支旧2号铅笔画画 I recommend getting some professional grade tools. When I made the switch当我换了更专业的工具之后 I noticed a significant improvement in my line quality and precision. My favorites are the Staedtler brand. Individual wooden pencils are good,单根的木制铅笔很好 but I like the mechanical even more. I like that it’s slightly heavier自动铅笔稍微重一些 and the sharpener that you get for it gets the tip very sharp,而且用配套的卷笔刀能把笔尖削得非常锋利 and mechanical pencils stay the same length no matter how many times you sharpen them,无论你削多少次它也不会变短 so you don’t have to deal with tiny little pencils.你不用想办法处理那些很短的铅笔头 With wooden pencils如果用木质铅笔 you have to rely on access to an electric sharpener wherever you go你就得随身携带一个电动卷笔刀 or carry one of those crappy portable ones. The sharpener for the staedtler mechanical pencil is portable施德楼牌自动铅笔的卷笔刀是便携式的 AND it works beautifully. The whole pencil setup will cost you a bit,整套工具会花你一点钱 but it’s worth it. Let’s go through each item. You’ll need a Staedtler Mars Technico Lead Holder. Now this doesn’t hold your regular 0.5 and 0.7 mm lead. Oh no, you’re working with the big boys now. I get the hb, 2b and 4b packs. I use the hb for the initial layin and light halftone shading,我用HB画初稿和浅色的半色调阴影 the 2b for darker halftones and some shadows,2B画较暗的半调和一些阴影 and the 4b for the darker shadows.4B画更深的阴影 You’re gonna need a sharpener,你需要一个卷笔刀 they call it a “lead pointer”. Pull out about 1.5 cm of the lead,拉出大约1.5 cm的铅芯 put it in the hole and spin! Just be careful not to get too wild with the sharpener只是要小心 不要太用力 because you can break the tip. I like to use the Strathmore 400 or 500 Series Bristol Board. I prefer the smoothest surface possible,我喜欢光滑的纸面 so I look for the words ‘smooth’, ‘plate’ or ‘hot press’. They all basically mean ‘smooth’. To erase, I like a kneaded eraser,至于橡皮 我喜欢用可塑橡皮 or as the british call them, “rubbers”.像英国人说的 “rubbers” I like them because I can shape them我喜欢它们 因为我可以改变它们的形状 to erase large areas, or small details. They also don’t poop crumbs all over the paper它们也不会像其他橡皮一样 like some others do. And when they get dirty,而且如果它们脏了 just knead them to clean them up. Optionally you can add a layer of charcoal powder under the graphite pencil. Though I do use it for most of my longer drawings,虽然我大部分要长期保存的画上都用了这个方法 like this one,像这样 you could manage without it, like this.. The powder is applied with a brush,碳粉用刷子涂开 which I’ll show in the shading video. This allows you create very soft gradations你能画出很柔和的渐变 which are hard to do with the pencil. And it allows you to quickly cover large areas of dark你能很快的覆盖大面积的暗部 which is tedious to do with the pencil. When you use the powder you blend a lot of your shapes together用碳粉的时候 你可以混合许多形状 which can reveal some lost edges. And lost edges look totally awesome in a drawing… I use this same approach in my upcoming video on shading. You’ll also see me using a scrap paper你还能看到我用一张废纸 or bridge to rest my hand on. If you’re like me, by the time you’re done with the drawing,如果你跟我一样 画完画之后 the bottom of your hand is completely covered in charcoal. Use this to rest your hand on to keep your hand AND your drawing clean. And once you’re done with the drawing,一旦你画完了 you can spray with fixative to prevent any smudging. I highly recommend you fix it. After you spray the drawing,喷完固定剂后 you can draw on top of it,你可以在上面继续画画 but you can’t erase what you sprayed. One thing many people dislike about graphite is the shine. When you go dark with graphite当你用石墨笔涂得很深时 it starts to become reflective. If this glossiness bothers you,如果这种光泽让你很困扰 then consider using charcoal pencils. So, a lot of the materials for my charcoal drawings我画炭笔画时用的很多材料 are the same as graphite. We still have the kneaded eraser, powder, brushes, scrap paper or bridge, and the spray. The only two differences are the pencils唯二的区别在于笔 (obviously, they’re charcoal instead of graphite)很明显用的炭笔而不是石墨笔 and the paper. You could use the same paper for both,你可以用相同的纸 but these are just my preferences. The pencil I use is a Conte 1710 HB, B or 2B. 2B I like to use the hb or b for layins and shading the light halftones,我喜欢用HB或B画背景和亮半调 and the 2b for shading the shadows.2B用来塑造阴影 If you’re wondering how to sharpen it like that,如果你想知道怎么像这样削铅笔 check out this video. I’ve been looking for a paper that takes a charcoal pencil cleanly我一直在寻找一种能用炭笔画画的纸 without much texture breaking up the strokes,不会有太多纹理破坏笔触 especially when using the side of the pencil to get soft gradations of tone. Most of them just don’t do it for me.大多数纸都不能做到 “Arches 88 silk screen paper” is the best I’ve found. It has very little texture, it’s soft,它的纹理很细 很柔软 and doesn’t fall apart much when erasing. If you’re used to drawing on newsprint如果你习惯在新闻纸上画画 this is a good archival alternative这是个很好的收藏级替代品 Where do you get this stuff? In the description I have the full list of all these supplies我把这些工具的清单和链接放在说明里 with links to where you could buy them online. Depending on where you live,这取决于你住在哪里 you might be able to find this stuff at your local art store. But, i don’t know. You guys are watching this video all around the world,你们在世界各地看这个视频 so I have no idea about the availability of these stuff where you live. You could at least buy them online你们至少能在网上买到 and hopefully the shipping isn’t too expensive. Ok, that about wraps it up! To see an example of how I use these supplies,想看我怎么用这些工具的话 watch my next video. Make sure to check out Proko.com/store一定要登录Proko.Proko.com/store for all the online video courses I have available,查看我发布的所有在线视频教程 like Portrait Drawing and Figure Drawing,比如 肖像画和人物素描 and a lot more no the way. If you like this video,如果你喜欢这个视频的话 share the wealth, tell your friends. Post it on your favorite social network. Click this button here to subscribe to the Proko newsletter如果你想收到更新提示 if you want to be updated about new videos.
  • 2021-09-07艺术与艺术家简介苏格兰国家美术馆 马塞尔·杜尚 艺术与艺术家介绍 马塞尔•杜尚 [Music playing](音乐) Although he trained as a painter, the French artist Marcel Duchamp尽管接受过绘画训练 is known for the radical break he made from traditional art form by inventing”the readmit”,法国艺术家马赛尔•杜尚却是因提出“重新认知”概念 is known for the radical break he made from traditional art form by inventing”the readmit”,引发传统艺术体系的剧烈动荡而成名 a term he coined to refer to an existing object该术语是指那些 that is taken from its original context and regarded as a work of art. In the 1910s, Duchamp began appropriating readmit objects,二十世纪一十年代 杜尚开始从普通物品中创作重新认知物 including a bicycle wheel, a shovel and a urinal.其中包括一只自行车轮 一个铲子和一个便池 which he then signed, retitled and presented as artworks in their own right. He did this most famaously with his reamdit”Fountain”,他做的最有名的重新认知物是《喷泉》 perhaps one of the most controversial artworks in history这大概是史上最有争议的艺术品之一了 Duchamp’s work is characterized by a taste for jokes, tongue in cheek quite杜尚的作品往往具有诙谐 讽刺的特征 and some aversive humor, rife with sexual innuendos. His questioning attitude towards definations of identity他对物件本体和原作者的定义持质疑态度 and authorship is personified by his alter ego Louis C’est la vie. Duchamp began to make miniature reproductions of all the work he had made to that point–杜尚开始做他做过所有重新认知物的微型复制品 Bote-en-valise Box in a suitcase.《手提箱里的盒子》 I thought of the idea of a box in which-我有个想法 艺术品可以在盒子里 they would be melded like in a small museum,像个小博物馆一样陈列 a portable museum便携的博物馆 and uh, it is.就像这样 This leather case contains 69 miniature reproductions,这个皮革箱装有69个微型的复制品 including Fountain and a portrait of louis C’est la vie. Duchamp made 24 versions of the case杜尚做了24个版本的盒子 and each of these features a different,每个盒子都附有一张不同的手绘原稿 hand-colored original, fixed to the inside of the lid. The box unpacks in such a way that盒子打开之后 some sections slide out with other folders with black and white prints inside.部分区域会滑出来 里面是装有黑白印制品的夹层 For Duchamp.,对杜尚而言 there is no clear distinction between the original and reproduction,这些原作品和复制品之间没有明确的界线 a concept cleverly embodied in this piece. The case is also reminiscent of a traveling salesman’s display case这盒子又令人想起推销员工作时用的展示箱 containing a selection of Duchamp’s work like a portable museum装着杜尚的作品选品 仿佛一个便携博物馆 made for his move to New York in the 1940s. Duchamp’s influence has increased over time杜尚的影响力日渐提升 and artists such as Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst以至于安迪•沃霍尔 达米安•赫斯特 and Sarah Lucas have been referred to as Duchampion. He’s also spoken out as being the godfather of conceptual art他也被称为概念艺术之父 with his focus on the artists’ idea over their statics and skill. There’s no doubting that Duchamp, in the age of the machine毫无疑问 在机器时代 was, and still is one of the world’s most influential artists.
  • 2021-09-07什么是立体主义《苏格兰国家美术馆》 Cubism is often credited as being one of the most avant-garde,立体主义常被称为艺术运动中最前卫 groundbreaking and revolutionary art movements. But what exactly is Cubist art? And who were the Cubists? The two most pivotal artists, referred to as the ‘inventors of Cubism’最核心的两位艺术家是“立体主义的创造者” are France’s Georges Braque, and Spain’s Pablo Picasso.他们是法国的乔治·布拉克和西班牙的巴勃罗·毕加索 Back in the early 1900s,十九世纪初期 these two pioneers started to represent and depict their subject matter这两位先驱开始同时 from multiple angles and viewpoints at the same time从多角度多视角表现主题 rather than from a single fixed position, which had been the norm prior to that. Despite the name of the iconic movement,虽然这次标志性运动名为立体主义 neither Braque or Picasso ever painted cubes但布拉克和毕加索都没有画过立方体 The term itself actually originated from a derogatory remark这一术语实际上来源于 made by an art critic in 19081908年一位艺术评论家的负面评价 The critic had disparaged Braque by saying这位评论家贬低布拉克道 the artist reduced everything ‘to geometric Schemas, to cubes’. Cubist techniques were evident throughout all of Picasso’s work at this time.这段时期毕加索所有作品都展示了立体主义者的技法 ‘Tête’ for instance is one of his most celebrated artworks例如《头像》是他最负盛名的艺术作品 and the most abstract of all of his cubist collages是他所有立体主义拼贴的最抽象表达 The half circle drawn in charcoal depicts the profile of a head. The small circle and diagonal line with the arc represent an eye and nose. The pasted on elements represent the face, hair, and neck. Within a few years, both Braque and Picasso几年后 布拉克和毕加索 began to incorporate letters into their Cubist works. Braque’s ‘Le Bougeoir’ meaning ‘The Candlestick’ from 1911布拉克1911年的作品“烛台” is a very early example of one of his paintings to include lettering. The purpose of this lettering was to question the relationship字母的目的是对文字 图像 between words, pictures, and the objects they represent. Towards the top of the painting is a candle 画作的最顶端是蜡烛 which helps to identify the shape below as a candlestick. A simple clay pipe, the kind Braque smoked, lies to the centre right,简单的黏土烟斗 和布拉克使用的一样 出现在中间偏右的位置 and below that are a bobbin, and a pair of scissors. Within a few years, a small group of artists based in Paris几年以后 巴黎的一小群艺术家 including Fernand Léger, Robert Delaunay, and Sonia Delaunay包括费尔南·莱热 罗伯特·德劳内和索妮娅·德劳内 were following the lead of Braque and Picasso’s abstract art. They wanted to emphasise the point that the painting is a flat surface他们想强调画作是平面的 while the things they represented were three-dimensional. So instead of a choosing a fixed perspective,因此 他们没有选择从固定角度表现主题 and presenting views as if seen through a window而像是透过窗户看进去那样 they painted motifs as if seen from several different angles at once. The Cubist style quickly spread across Europe and America立体主义风格很快在欧洲和美洲流传开来 with particular popularity burgeoning in Russia尤其是在俄罗斯迅速流行开来 where the style corresponded and chimed with newly forming revolutionary ideals. In Scotland the work of artists like William Crozier在苏格兰 威廉·克罗齐的作品中 also displayed a strong affinity with Cubism也显示了对立体主义的强烈喜爱 as can be seen in this painting of Edinburgh from the late 1920s. Cubism soon splintered and morphed into various different styles立体主义很快在各国分化 across numerous different countries. The Italians had Futurism, the British had Vorticism像意大利的未来主义 英国的漩涡主义 the Russians had Suprematism and Constructivism俄罗斯的至上主义和构成主义 it also inspired and influenced movements around the world in different creative disciplines还激励和影响了全球不同创造性领域的运动 such as architecture, music, and literature. Given the far reach and impact of the movement鉴于此项运动的深远影响 and its many exciting and important offshoots及其重要而精彩的衍生流派 the case can easily be made for Cubism as being the most立体主义当之无愧为 radical and influential art movement of the 20th century.20世纪最激进 影响最大的艺术运动 The Cubists constructed new realities –立方主义者构建新的现实 moving away from traditional ideas of representation leading to abstraction.
Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial! I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will sketch a girl drinking coffee. We begin by making a circle for the head. Then a line to indicate were the face will be. In this case it is going to be tilted. I draw a light cross in the middle of the head as a reference. 要画得足够轻 看起来就像没有[笑声]It is so light it is almost imaginary [laughter] 但是这标出眉毛的高度but it tells me the height were the eyebrow goes. And just below it, there is a slight recess in the profile 接下来是鼻子 凸出来and then the nose, sticks out. Underneath we have the lips and the chin, and the jaw arrives 画在交叉线的垂直面to the right of the vertical line of the cross. Very good! Let´s draw the neck, skinny and elegant and then the shoulder and the arm 画到手肘处up to the elbow. 背部…The back… 和她身上的衣服… and the clothing that it´s covering her. More or less like this and also the part of clothe behind her. The arm should be a little longer. Now let´s draw the eye, which is like a triangle, just below the eyebrow. And we go over and detail the nose a little bit better. The forehead here, and we begin drawing the hair. Very good! She is going to be drinking a delicious morning cup of coffee. 所以我们画杯子So we draw it. And the hand that is holding the cup will be hardly seen, here. And the arm in a vertical position. Let´s draw her hair, on the back like so. I love doing figure drawings and sketches, it has been some time 都是可以看见的now since the last one. So I´m enjoying this very much! And now, let´s begin shading. And I do most of it by making parallel lines, like if I was drawing with a pen. Here I should have left a light so let´s erase it, on the trapezius muscle. For this sketch, I´m using an indigo blue pencil, which is a Prismacolor 易擦除彩铅系列Col-Erase. I like this type of pencil for sketching because it can be erased. The exact tools I´m using are, as always, in the description of the video. I darken some of the shading, like the core shadow on the arm, 修改了眉毛的形状and I correct the shape of the eyebrow 因为从背部看起来 有点太高了as it was rising a little bit too high on the back. Let´s shade the lips, and define the line a little bit better. I want to let you know that I reallly appreciate your comments and your support, 请告知我们想要学其他哪种教程and please do let me know 我们都可以教学what other tutorials would you like me to do for you. We do a little bit more detail on the hair but not too much. I want this to be sketchy. 我们差不多完成了We are almost there! We do the last details, the last touches and it´s ready! If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends and subscribe to 并且请订阅 Fine Art-Tips频道Fine Art-Tips. And I will see you, on Tuesday

Learning to art is not a talent-based thing, 它实际上是一种技能 一门技术it’s actually a skill, it’s a technique, 任何人都能学习这门技术and anybody can learn the technique. It just takes time, and practice, and patience, 对自己要有耐心and patience with yourself because 因为你要花很多时间去练习you’re gonna take a lot of time to practice. In future videos, I’m gonna go over some really specific stuff 就是你们想学的如何用水彩颜料画画that you wanna learn how to draw or paint with watercolor. But right now we’re gonna start at the very beginning, 以每个人开始画画的基本功讲起with the very basics where everyone begins. 写生和涂鸦Sketching & Doodling 每件事都需要练习 每一件事Everything takes practice, everything, 包括绘画和着色including drawing and painting. Doodling and sketching is a great way for artists to 练习学着画某一主题的好方法practice learning to draw certain subjects, 或者让他们自己为最终的绘画做好准备or just prepare themselves to make the final painting. 涂鸦的定义是Doodling is defined as 没有目的的乱涂乱画 不需要思考scribbling absentmindedly, without thinking. And may add it’s an excellent way to pass the time 一个极佳打发时间的方式when you are in a boring class meeting. Fill in the blank here. Bro, I’m just doodling here. Doodling has a reputation for 就是它可能是你做过的最不重要的事being the most unimportant thing you could be doing. But it can actually make a difference. It’s a great way to work on your hand-eye coordination 谁知道呢 涂鸦能产生灵感and who knows? Ideas can come from doodling. Sketching can be defined as 一种简单或是快速 按计划完成的绘画或着色a simply, or hastily, executed drawing or painting, 尤其是指一种初步的描绘especially a preliminary one, 描出大概的 没有细节的特征giving the essential features without the details. Can’t get it far. Sketching is a great way to consciously work on areas 你感觉自己需要提高的地方where you feel like you need to improve. For example, if you find it difficult to draw, hands! 它太复杂了It’s so complicated! You can practice sketching them over and over again, 相当快速地描绘大概 目的是为了熟悉它们really quick rough drawings, just to get familiar with them. You can also sketch out a final drawing or painting before you start it, 描出一幅大概的草图或是着色before you get halfway through, 并且认识到自己最好用一种and realize that you’d rather have done it 稍微不同的方式画完它in a slightly different way, 有点像 为一篇散文打草稿sort of like writing a rough draft for an essay. If you’re wanting to be a cartoonist 或是画一本漫画书or draw comic books, 你可以事先拟好人物的草图you can sketch out your characters beforehand. Sketch them with different face shapes or hairstyles. You can try different looks on them like trying on clothes. 你也可以从不同的角度画他们you can also sketch them from different angles, 让自己对人物外貌变得非常熟悉and get really familiar with what that character looks like. It also must be said that 如果想成为一个艺术家if you want to be an artist, 看起来像个艺术家非常重要it’s very important that you look like an artist. I mean a big part of art is observation, 尤其是观察你周围的世界especially of the world around you, 当然了 也要观察其他艺术家的作品and yes, also of what other artists make. Take a look at something in the room, anything. What is it? What color is it? What colors it may be. A solid orange like this pumpkin? But is it a just orange? 这里是黄橙色It there yellow orange? Maybe a bit of a red orange? What is its basic shape? Is it a circle, is it an oval, 或是方形 长方形 三角形or square, rectangular triangle? Is it made of multiple basic shapes? Where is it light? And where is the casting shadow? You are taking in the world, 然后用自己独一无二的方式向观众反映出来and reflecting it back to your audience in your own unique way. All you need to get started is a pencil and 一张纸 没有先后顺序and a piece of paper in no particular order. I recommend, get yourself a sketchbook. 什么是写生簿What is a sketchbook? A sketchbook is like a journal full of blank pages 你可以在里面写生和涂鸦where you can put your sketches and your doodles, 你可以把它们都收集在一起以备以后参考and you can keep them all together to reference later. And maybe discover old ideas that you wanna explore more, 或是仅用来提醒自己 几年来进步了多少or just remind yourself how much you’ve improved over the years. Sketchbooks like women come in all different shapes and sizes, 不管它是什么 你喜欢的就是最好的and whatever it is, that you prefer is best, 线装的 线缝的 精装的 平装的Wire-bound, stitched, hardcover, softcover, 大的 小的 便宜的 贵的 随便什么big, small, cheap, expensive, whatever. My very first sketchbook was blank printer paper 夹在文件夹里 我随身携带shoved into a folder and I carried everywhere. Doesn’t have to be fancy. This is my challenge to you, 积累一本写生簿 每天画一张get a sketchbook together and sketching it everyday. And here are some basic sketching tips. 当你写生时When you are sketching, 可以用一支铅笔you can use a pencil, 如果你喜欢 甚至可以用支钢笔you can even use a pen if that’s what you prefer. If you’re using a pencil, pressure makes a big difference. Light, broad strokes are a great way to start, 然后你可以慢慢加深笔触and then you can slowly add the darker strokes, 加大用笔力道adding more pressure to the pencil. Start light and work with your way dark. 随意的画Be sloppy with it. If your sketches are just one long continuous line, 那么你或许可以在那里画得松散点then you can probably loosen up a little bit there. This is not a final drawing, 没必感觉要画完它this doesn’t have to feel finished, 又不是要把它放进博物馆it’s not going in the museum. You don’t have to even show anybody. So pressures off, have fun! I hope this is helpful to you, 并且能激励你们开始涂鸦和写生and inspires you to start doodling and sketching. I got a video on drawing tools and supplies 以及绘制光影的技术as well as shading techniques and lighting. If there’s anything specific that 或者有些疑问you wanna learn about or have questions, 你可以在下方评论you can comment below 或在推特上给玛丽涂鸦发信息or tweet me at Mary Doodles. And be sure to subscribe to this channel, 那样你就不会错过下一期教学视频so you don’t miss the next tutorials 和每周一次的艺术视频as well as the weekly art videos. Thank you very much for watching!
Hello, my name is Stan Prokopenko.Welcome to Proko! This is the second part of the Intro 肌肉解剖课程的第二部分to Muscles Lesson. Let’s take a step back and look at what a muscle actually is. There’re two parts, 肌腹 以及肌腱 让我们从肌腹来讲起the belly of the muscle, and the tendons. We’ll start with the belly. The belly is comprised of muscle fibers. They usually follow the axis of the muscle, though 当然也有一些例外 这点我过一会儿讲到 通常在肌肉活跃的情况下 肌纤维会聚集形成在表层可见的肌纤维束there are exceptions. More on that in a minute. Muscle fibers group into bundles, which can 通常在肌肉活跃的情况下 肌纤维会聚集形成在表层可见的肌纤维束be seen on the surface form, usually when the muscle is active. Here’s something cool. Wrinkles and skin folds always happen in the perpendicular direction 而奇异的是 肌肉褶皱与皮肤皱襞通常会沿着在肌纤维的垂直方向to the muscle fibers. Pop quiz! The muscle of your forehead lifts your eyebrows and causes horizontal creases 那么肌纤维是沿什么方向呢?across your forehead. What direction is the muscle fiber? It’s vertical… The muscle fibers are vertical. When you flex a muscle, it’s the belly of the muscle that shortens, not the tendons. And when you stretch, it’s the belly of the muscle that you’re stretching, not the Tendons have their own thing going on. Tendons are like the tape that attach the muscles to the bones 又各有特点 不同肌腱有着不同外形 长度以及厚度they do have personality. The shape, length, and thickness varies from tendon to tendon. Tendons are thick enough that they’ll add mass to the surface form. They can appear 以那种我们称为肌腱的长纤维管形式出现了当临近的骨骼肌向外扩张时as these long tubes that we typically think of as tendons. When nearby muscles are bulging 肌腱就会稍稍起到类似约束板的作用out, tendons appear as slightly recessed planks. These forms can help you identify where a 准确位置muscle is. By the way, “tendons” are made of the same fibrous tissue as ligaments and fasciae, 只不过韧带是骨与骨之间的连接 而筋膜是肌肉与肌肉之间的连接but “ligaments” attach a bone to a bone and “fasciae” attach a muscle to a muscle. An aponeurosis is a special type of tendon that’s large and thin. For artists, that 其(腱膜)下的肌肉组成则毫无蒙昧打个比方吧means that it won’t obscure the form of the muscles beneath it. For example, your 你的后背下部事实上是由背阔筋膜包裹的 但你从来没有察觉 因为lower back is actually covered by your lat’s aponeurosis, but you’d never know, because 背阔筋膜极其纤薄 以至于其深面肌肉结构可以展现得清清楚楚aponeurosis…es…are so thin, and the forms of the deeper muscles show through. Sometimes tendons are embedded inside the belly of the muscle, which is called a tendinous All of the divisions on the rectus abdominis that cut out the 6-pack are 都是靠这些肌鞘a result of these tendinous intersections. What’s interesting is… the length of a muscle belly versus the length of the tendon 是因人而异的 而肌纤维适度偏长的形体往往会varies from person to person. Bodies with proportionately longer muscle fibers tend 更悦目一些 即使看起来肌肉极发达的人 他们肌肉的塑型to look more graceful. Even if the individual is very muscular, the muscles appear to curve 通常也是勾勒得十分雅致修长 较长的肌腱意味着肌腹不得不in and out in elegant, slender slopes. Longer tendons means that the muscle mass has to 变短 所以肌肉就不得不那样紧张兀然地臌胀起来 而造成一种be shorter, so muscles appear as abrupt protrusions and depressions. The overall look is bulky 一种孔壮如山的轮廓的观感with contours that look like a mountain range. Here’s an example of a superhero with longer muscles. And here’s an example of the same 超级英雄的肌肉较短的形象superhero with shorter muscles. We’re almost done! To wrap up this intro to muscles, I’m going to give you a tip 来简化你图画中的肌肉 相邻肌肉中有着一致for simplifying muscles in your drawings. Muscles nearby each other that have the same 功能的可以归为一群 如我们大腿上有一个肌群叫股四头肌 虽然function can be grouped together, like how we group the “quads” in the leg. Although 准确的说呢 它是四块独立的肌肉 但它们有相似的功能 所以它们会technically four individual muscles, they all have a similar function, so they’re 同时舒张 当它们舒张时 它们变得十分协调 处于同一种状态all at rest at the same time. And when they rest, they blend together and appear as one Muscle groups are separated from each other by a soft surface furrow. Types of muscle… available in the premium section. Stan Prokopenko here with another episode of Proko. Since I started making these videos the most commonly asked question has been, “你用的铅笔是什么样的?”“what kind of pencil do you use? I think it’s time to make a video about it. I do have a specific pencil and a specific way of sharpening it. I do this because that’s the way I was trained at the Watts Atelier. I’ll start by showing you how to sharpen a charcoal pencil 然后再说下所有其他在我视频中用到过的工具and then go over all the other supplies that I use in my videos. I like to use the Conte 1710 B as my go-to pencil. Its the one with the gold ring on the back tip. 6B……But, I also like to use the primo 59B and wolff’s carbon 6B.. And there’s a bunch of other options out there. They’re all slightly different, and the best way to see the difference is to just try them out. They’re not very expensive. The primo and wolff’s carbon feel a bit more like drafting pencils compared to the Conte 所以我会倾向于用它们进行线性绘画and so I use them more for linear work. And the Conte is thicker and softer, so it’s easier to be tonal and more painty with it I’m right handed, so I control the blade with my right hand and hold the pencil in my left hand, like this. The first thing I’m going to do is expose about an inch of the charcoal removing the wood. Push the razor forward with the left thumb 同时用右手控制刃缘的位置角度and control the position and angle of the blade with the right hand. Take off thin pieces of the wood and rotate the pencil. Make sure not to go to deep. If you try to take off all the wood at the same time, you risk cutting into the charcoal. Keep rotating until all the wood is off and there is a smooth taper from the wood to the charcoal. Sometimes there will be a layer of glue still on the charcoal. Chip away at it to remove all the glue. Now let’s focus on getting the charcoal to the right shape. Right now, the charcoal has these sharp corners towards the top. What we want is a smooth taper to the point. If you have any rough edges or sharp corners on the side, the pencil won’t work properly. We want a smooth taper so that we can use the side to shade smooth tones. I like to use sandpaper to soften the sides. One of these that you can get at most art stores works fine and fits in a pencil box. I prefer to use these larger blocks from Home Depot because you can clean and reuse them. I use a forward and back or side to side motion while constantly rotating the pencil. 哔BEEP 才开始用这种方式削铅笔时when you first start sharpening the pencil this way. You’ll probably break a bunch of them. 没关系That’s ok. Don’t let it get to you. Take a deep breath and try again. It becomes much easier over time. You can actually get quite fast at it. 好的 让我们再试一次Ok, Let’s try that again. And DONT FORGET! wipe off the excess powder. When I come by to help one of my students and they give me a pencil with excess powder on it, I BREAK BEEP 嗯好吧 其实我没那样做 但不要忘记把细屑擦干净!no I don’t actually do that… but don’t forget to wipe! 否则纸上到处都是 你就没法擦掉它了……It get’s all over the paper and then you can’t erase it… So there you have it. Now let’s take a look at all the other supplies. 首先说纸First, the paper. I use smooth newsprint when I do studies because it’s cheap and allows you to shade very smooth tones. It’s important that you buy the ‘smooth’ newsprint and not the rough. Nothing wrong with the rough, it’s just that the smooth gets better details. The rough has some texture that breaks up the details a bit. Before you start the drawing, make sure you’re drawing on a thick stack of newsprint. This provides some cushion and get’s smoother tones when you’re shading. If you’re getting towards the back of the pad, some of the texture from the cardboard will begin to show through. So, constantly rotate the paper and make sure you’re working on the top sheet. I do want to point out that newsprint is NOT archival. It will wrinkle and yellow over time if exposed to heat, light, moisture, and oxygen… which 几乎一切都会让它变皱发黄is pretty much everything.. So, I use it only for practice in school, when I do studies and film these tutorials. When I want to do a charcoal drawing that lasts, I use watercolor paper 那些质地柔软的水彩纸and I’ll usually choose the ones that are soft and cushiony. Or I’ll use Bristol paper with graphite pencils. I’m always trying out new paper and I encourage you to do the same. To erase, I like a kneaded eraser because I can shape it 来控制擦除面积的大小——大范围还是小细节 细节to erase large areas, or small details. It also doesn’t fall apart while you’re erasing and you can knead it to clean it up a bit. You’ll need either a clipboard, a piece of wood, or foam board with clips to hold your paper. Put the pad towards your knees, and lean it against a table or the back of a chair. Hold the pencil like a paint brush, sit up straight, move from the shoulder, and you’re ready to begin. Make sure to check out my Portrait drawing fundamentals DVD which includes 16 mini lessons from my YouTube channel 以及两次我完整的肖像画绘制教学视频and 2 real time demonstration of how I draw a portrait from start to finish 每个大约一个半小时at about an hour and half each. 详情请浏览 proko.com/dvd1.Check it out at proko.com/dvd1. Hey If you like this video, your friends might too Please help me out and share this video on your favorite social network And don’t forget to subscribe to the newsletter on Proko.com
